The posting

IN BRIEF

Location Helsinki metropolitan area. The work includes regular days at the client's office.

Language Professional Finnish and fluent English. Many of our clients work in Finnish, while a lot of our client teams and our own community run in English.

Skills AI-era product leadership and coaching, discovery and prioritisation, reshaping how product teams work, AI-native product craft (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT, synthesis and transcription tools), working directly with designers and engineers, facilitation and credible senior stakeholder work, taking a change through resistance and showing results fast.

Are you the person a product team wants in the room when they're trying to work out what AI actually changes about how they build, and what's still just noise? At Nitor, we help clients build real product capability for the AI era: not shipping faster for its own sake, but changing how teams discover, decide, and lead. As a Product Coach, you make that change stick, and you leave the team able to keep going without you.

Two things are true at the same time. AI is changing what products look like, what people expect from them, and what's worth building at all. And it's changing how product people do the job day to day: how they research, synthesise, and decide, and how the teams and leaders around them organise to keep up. Knowing this isn't the same as being able to act on it. That gap is where you come in.

🤖 What this role actually is

The shape of the work varies by client. Sometimes it's coaching a product team on how they discover, decide, and ship in the AI era. Sometimes it's working with product leaders on how the whole product practice should change, and dropping to team level when that's where the change has to take hold. Often the team hasn't yet named what needs to change, or the client's product leaders disagree about it themselves. Untangling that on the ground, one team and one decision at a time, is where this role earns its keep.

Across an engagement, the day-to-day looks something like:

  • Working with product leaders and teams to figure out where product work needs to change in the AI era, and what to stop, start, and sequence
  • Reshaping how product gets discovered, decided, and run, and making the new way easier than the old one
  • Coaching product people directly, on judgement, on prioritisation, on using AI well, so their capability compounds long after the engagement ends
  • Driving a change yourself when the client needs a hand on the wheel, not only advice from the side, and showing results fast enough that people believe the rest is worth the effort
  • Helping the client see where AI is the right tool, and where a well-designed traditional interface still wins, and building that instinct into their teams
  • Joining early client conversations and helping shape the case and our proposal, so that what we sign up for is the work that will actually change how their product teams operate
  • Using AI in your own work every day for research synthesis, drafts, analysis, and pre-reads, and modelling what that looks like done well.

✅ What could you bring with you?

There's no clean checklist, but here's the shape of it.

Product judgement you've earned You've spent meaningful time leading product work on digital products and services, and you have the results to point to: as a Product Lead or principal in a product company, or as a consultant who has coached product teams and owned product work. This is not about line-managing people. It's about hands-on ownership of the product work our clients actually want to buy. You know how to choose what matters when everything looks important, and you can sit with a delivery team in the morning and a CFO in the afternoon and be useful in both rooms.

You lead by making others better You can own product direction, and drive a change yourself, when that's what the moment needs, and you've done both. But the instinct that makes you good here is wanting other people to get better, and being willing to step back so they can. You know the difference between solving the problem for someone and teaching them to solve it, and you reach for the second one even when the first is faster.

The ability to change how a team works You can walk into an established way of working and reorganise it without breaking the people in it. You've taken a change through real resistance, and you can name where the resistance came from and what you measured before and after. You know that durable change is about habits and incentives, not slide decks.

AI already in your craft You've taken AI into your own work, not just your job description: refined PRDs with an LLM, run call transcripts through synthesis tools, drafted competitive scans in minutes. You can talk specifically about where these tools save time and where they quietly mislead you, and you know when human review is non-negotiable. What matters is that your product track record gives you the readiness to lead in an accelerating AI era, and that you can teach this, not just do it.

An eye for AI-shaped product strategy You hold both halves of the picture: AI inside the product (where it's the experience) and AI inside the team (where it's the tooling). You're not selling "AI-powered" as a feature; you understand that the advantage is in the data, distribution, user experience, and the loops a product gets to learn from. You speak about AI in the language of the business and the user, not the tool.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
