Product Designer (UX/UI + Design Systems | SaaS) – Remote

Position Type: Full-Time, Remote Location: Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Mexico Working Hours: U.S. Business Hours

About the Role

At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a Product Designer (UX/UI) to own the end-to-end product experience across modern web and mobile applications.

This is a product-focused design role that goes beyond creating beautiful interfaces. You’ll combine user research, product thinking, UX strategy, UI design, and scalable design systems to build intuitive, high-performing digital products that improve usability, engagement, and customer satisfaction.

Working closely with Product Managers and Engineers, you’ll transform user insights into polished, developer-ready experiences while continuously optimizing products through research, analytics, and experimentation.

If you think in user journeys, product flows, and scalable systems—not just screens—this role is for you.

Responsibilities

UX Research & Product Discovery

  • Conduct user research, interviews, usability testing, and behavioral analysis.
  • Translate research findings into personas, user journeys, workflows, and user flows.
  • Identify friction points and recommend UX improvements.
  • Leverage product analytics tools such as Mixpanel and Amplitude to inform design decisions.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to validate assumptions and prioritize user needs.

UX/UI Design

  • Design wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces.
  • Create responsive experiences across web and mobile platforms.
  • Deliver polished, user-centered designs aligned with modern SaaS design principles.
  • Produce developer-ready assets using Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
  • Iterate quickly based on stakeholder feedback and user insights.

Design Systems & Scalability

  • Build, maintain, and evolve scalable design systems and reusable component libraries.
  • Establish standards for typography, spacing, color systems, iconography, and interaction patterns.
  • Ensure consistency across products, features, and customer touchpoints.
  • Improve collaboration between design and engineering through standardized design practices.

Accessibility & User Experience

  • Design accessible experiences that align with WCAG 2.1 standards.
  • Ensure responsive usability across devices, browsers, and screen sizes.
  • Improve navigation, information architecture, and interaction design.
  • Create intuitive experiences that reduce friction and improve engagement.

Product Optimization & Experimentation

  • Conduct A/B testing on user flows, layouts, and interaction patterns.
  • Analyze user behavior and product performance metrics.
  • Optimize conversion, engagement, onboarding, and retention through iterative improvements.
  • Continuously refine designs using analytics, usability testing, and customer feedback.

Collaboration & Developer Handoff

  • Work closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Deliver developer-ready specifications using Figma Dev Mode, Zeplin, or similar tools.
  • Create clear interaction documentation, design specifications, and implementation guidance.
  • Participate in sprint planning, design reviews, and product discussions.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • You think like a product designer—not just a visual designer.
  • You balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
  • You enjoy solving complex product problems through thoughtful design.
  • You use research and data to guide design decisions.
  • You’re collaborative, organized, and comfortable working in Agile environments.
  • You care deeply about usability, accessibility, and scalable design systems.

What Happens After You Apply

Right after you apply, you’ll receive an email invitation from Spark Hire to record your Intro Video. This short, self-recorded video is the final step that completes your application.

Instead of repeating yourself across multiple screening calls, you’ll introduce yourself once, and your video will be shared with the hiring team. This allows hiring managers to evaluate your communication style early, making future interviews more meaningful while reducing unnecessary interview rounds.

Don’t overthink it—you can record your video as many times as you’d like before submitting it. Only your final submission will be reviewed. Please keep an eye on both your inbox and spam folder for your Spark Hire invitation.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
