We are looking for an experienced Crop Nutrition & Product Development Professional to contribute to the development, evaluation, and optimisation of innovative crop nutrition solutions. The role combines agronomy, crop science, soil fertility, product development, field trials, data analysis, and project management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of crop nutrition and practical experience translating agricultural research and field data into effective product development and commercial solutions.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and optimisation of crop nutrition products and solutions.
  • Conduct research into crop nutrient requirements, soil conditions, fertility, and nutrient-management practices.
  • Design, coordinate, and monitor field trials to evaluate product performance across crops and growing conditions.
  • Collect, validate, analyse, and interpret field-trial data to assess product efficacy and performance.
  • Develop trial protocols, maintain detailed documentation, and prepare technical reports and recommendations.
  • Translate agronomic research and field insights into actionable product-development inputs.
  • Evaluate product performance against defined agronomic and commercial objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for product improvement based on field results, crop responses, and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with agronomists, researchers, product teams, and other stakeholders throughout development projects.
  • Support project planning, timelines, milestones, resources, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks, dependencies, and execution challenges.
  • Contribute to technical presentations, product documentation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Stay current with developments in crop science, soil fertility, plant nutrition, and agricultural technologies.
  • Support the transition of validated product concepts from development and field testing toward broader commercial application.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 6+ years of relevant professional experience in crop nutrition, agronomy, agricultural product development, crop science, or a related field.
  • Strong academic background with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Soil Science, Crop Science, or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of crop science, soil fertility, plant nutrition, and nutrient-management practices.
  • Hands-on experience in crop nutrition product development and field trials.
  • Strong ability to design, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate agricultural field trials.
  • Experience analysing field and agronomic data and converting findings into practical recommendations.
  • Strong understanding of crop responses to different nutrients, soil conditions, and agricultural practices.
  • Good project-management skills with the ability to manage timelines, deliverables, and multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent technical communication and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams across research, product, agronomy, and commercial functions.
  • Comfortable working in an international agricultural environment and adapting solutions to different crops, soils, and growing conditions.
  • Strong interest in agricultural innovation, sustainable crop nutrition, and evidence-based product development.
