私たちのチームミッションは、“Connect the world to SmartNews and build diverse vertical experiences that expand our ecosystem.” です。

私たちは、SmartNewsと外の世界を繋ぐためのプロダクトと、アプリ内のユーザー体験を豊かにするプロダクトの両方に貢献しています。外部向けには、コンテンツプロバイダー向けの堅牢なプラットフォームを管理し、マーケティングテクノロジーを強力に支えるデータパイプラインを構築しています。アプリ・プロダクト開発においては、他の様々なチームと協働し、アプリ内の機能の設計からローンチまでを行っています。

直近では、コンテンツパートナーへ提供する価値の最大化を継続しつつ、AIを活用した、より直感的かつ高度に効率化された手法で、ユーザーに「良質な情報」を届けるための探索に多くの時間を割いています

Role Mission / ミッション

本ポジションのミッションは、私たちのチームが管理するシステムに対し垂直統合的にオーナーシップを持ち、プロダクト機能の基盤となるスケーラブルなプラットフォームを設計・実装することです。この新しいAIの時代において、高度な機械学習およびAI機能をコア製品に統合するプロジェクトを推進できる、プロダクト志向のエンジニアを求めています。

プラットフォームの未来を形作るため、影響力の大きい幅広いイニシアチブを推進していただきます。具体的なプロジェクトの例としては、以下のようなものがありますが、これらに限定されません。

  • AIを活用したコンテンツの生成・配信: ニュースにとどまらない多種多様なコンテンツを「良質な情報」として届けるため、エンドツーエンドの（一気通貫した）パイプラインおよびバックエンド基盤を構築する。
  • 次世代収益モデル: AIベースのコンテンツ時代に適した、革新的なレベニューシェア（収益分配）メカニズムを支えるスケーラブルなインフラを設計する。
  • マーケティングエンジニアリング: マーケティングチームと密に連携し、AIを活用したクリエイティブなコンテンツ生成や、有料キャンペーン（広告運用）向けの効率的なツールの提供を通じて、アプリのさらなる成長に主体的に貢献する。

プロダクトマネージャーや事業開発チームと密に連携し、技術戦略とビジネスゴールをすり合わせ、システムがユーザーに最大の価値を提供できるようにします。同時に、インフラストラクチャチームやMLプラットフォームチームとパートナーシップを組み、大規模なサービスの設計・開発を行います。また、私たちは、多文化な環境で活躍できる方を求めています。技術的な議論の主な言語は英語ですが、日本市場向けのプロダクトイニシアチブを主体的にリードし、プロダクトおよびビジネス関係者と効果的に連携するため、ビジネスレベルの日本語能力が必要です。

Responsibilities / 主な業務内容

  • コンテンツ生成・配信、レベニューシェア（収益分配）、マーケティングエンジニアリングを支えるプロダクトの進化を牽引するため、エンドツーエンドのシステムおよびデータパイプラインの設計、構築、テスト、デプロイ、保守、および改善を行うこと
  • プラットフォームの機能を強化・向上させるため、必要に応じてバックエンドとフロントエンドの両方にまたがるフレキシブルな開発を行うこと
  • コードの高い品質基準を維持し、ミッションクリティカルなシステムの信頼性を確保するためのシステム設計、コードレビュー、およびオンコールへの貢献
  • プロダクトおよびビジネスの関係者と密に連携したうえでプロダクトロードマップの優先順位付け、計画、そして確実な実行とリリースの推進
  • 顧客のニーズを深く理解し、主体的にプロダクトの要件定義に参加すること。また、技術的ソリューションがユーザーに測定可能な価値をもたらすようにすることで、強いプロダクトオーナーシップを発揮すること。

Requirements

応募要件（必須）

  • Java、Python、Go、Node.jsなど、一般的に使用されるプログラミング言語を用いた、3年以上のバックエンドソフトウェア開発経験。
  • Agentic Coding などの進化する環境に適応しつつ、コード品質やシステムの信頼性に対する高い基準を維持しながら、開発を加速させるためにこれらのツールを活用できる能力。
  • Docker/Kubernetesを使用したマイクロサービスアーキテクチャやCI/CDの実践に関する専門知識を持ち、大規模なバックエンドシステムの設計、構築、テスト、保守の実務経験があること。
  • 技術系・非技術系に関係なく議論をリードできる優れたコミュニケーション能力。
  • ユーザーへの強いこだわりと、深いプロダクトドリブンのマインドセット。
  • 英語と日本語の両方におけるビジネスレベルのコミュニケーション能力

歓迎する経験・スキル

  • Java/KotlinまたはTypeScriptプログラミング言語を使った開発経験
  • ランキングやパーソナライズのための機械学習システムの構築経験、またはそうしたMLシステムを利用するシステム/機能の構築経験。
  • データの正確性と信頼性に対する厳しい要件を伴う、堅牢なデータパイプラインの設計経験
