The posting

We are looking for a highly driven, analytical, and customer-focused Product Manager to help shape the future of Alivo's platform.

This role is responsible for defining product priorities, managing the roadmap, and translating customer needs into product experiences that drive measurable business outcomes. You will work directly with the founder, customers, and engineering team to identify opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and ensure the team is building the right things at the right time.

This role is critical to our success. You will serve as the bridge between customers, business strategy, and product execution—helping transform customer feedback, usage data, and market opportunities into products that drive growth and differentiation.

If you thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy solving complex problems, and are excited about building AI-powered products, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

Own Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Own the product roadmap and prioritization process in partnership with the founder
  • Evaluate opportunities, customer requests, and strategic initiatives to determine what gets built and why
  • Balance short-term customer needs with long-term product vision
  • Make difficult prioritization decisions and communicate tradeoffs clearly across the organization

Translate Ideas Into Product Execution

  • Turn customer needs, business objectives, and product vision into clearly defined requirements
  • Create detailed product specifications and acceptance criteria that enable efficient execution
  • Work closely with Engineering and QA to ensure features are delivered successfully
  • Manage scope, sequencing, and release planning across multiple initiatives

Drive Customer & Market Understanding

  • Conduct customer interviews and gather feedback to understand needs, pain points, and opportunities
  • Develop a deep understanding of how customers use the product and where they derive value
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies
  • Bring evidence and customer insights into product decisions and prioritization discussions

Own Product Analytics & Insights

  • Analyze product usage data to understand adoption, engagement, and customer behavior
  • Build reporting and dashboards that provide visibility into product performance
  • Identify areas where customers are getting stuck, underutilizing features, or experiencing friction
  • Use quantitative and qualitative insights to inform roadmap decisions and product improvements

Build AI-Powered Product Experiences

  • Help define the strategy and experience for AI-powered functionality throughout the platform
  • Reason through AI-specific challenges including quality, reliability, evaluation, and user experience
  • Work with Engineering to define success metrics and evaluation frameworks for AI-driven features
  • Help ensure AI capabilities deliver meaningful value to customers

Collaborate Cross-Functionally

  • Partner closely with Engineering, QA, Customer Success, Sales, and Leadership
  • Align product decisions with customer needs, business objectives, and technical realities
  • Communicate priorities, progress, and outcomes across the organization
  • Help create a culture of customer-centric product development

Requirements

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of product management experience shipping software products
  • Experience writing product requirements, specifications, and user stories
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
  • Experience working closely with engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle
  • Experience taking products from 0-to-1 and through early-stage growth
  • Experience with product analytics tools such as Sentry, Metabase, or similar platforms
  • Experience writing SQL and analyzing product usage data
  • Familiarity with tools such as Linear, Jira, or similar product management platforms
  • Experience with AI, LLMs, or AI-powered software products
  • Experience with CRM, sales, marketing, or customer communication platforms
  • Experience working with founders, engineering, and leadership stakeholders
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Resides in the United States

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
