The Purpose

As a Product Manager for Merchants and Online products within our AP+ Retail Payments team, you’ll manage and evolve retail products in online payment channels end-to-end, turning market, customer and usage insights into clear priorities and incremental value. You’ll work across Product, Marketing, Commercial and Operations to shape roadmaps, define requirements, validate opportunities and drive product adoption and performance across Australia’s domestic payments ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities the Role Owns:

  • Manage products across the product lifecycle from discovery, and design, through launch and optimisation.
  • Assess opportunities and change options through feasibility analysis, business cases and cost, impact and risk considerations.
  • Develop product definition and translate product strategy into an outcome-based roadmap eftpos merchant and online propositions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise product performance, ensuring products deliver customer outcomes and meet business targets.
  • Gather and communicate customer, market, stakeholder and product performance insights on trends, needs and risks to shape product propositions, positioning, priorities and development.

You’ll likely be a strong fit for this role if:

  • You have 3+ years of product management experience with a focus on card payments and e-commerce.
  • You know how to use market research, user feedback, expert input and product performance data to shape product propositions and roadmaps.
  • You have proven experience developing and managing eCommerce payment products or merchant propositions, ideally involving acquirers, payment service providers and merchants, with a strong understanding of how these participants interact across the online payments value chain.
  • You bring strong customer and stakeholder management, with proven ability to influence and communicate with cross-functional stakeholders and across the value chain.
  • You’re comfortable building business cases, assessing feasibility and using product performance data to guide decisions and continuous improvement.
  • You bring knowledge of payments products, technology, and the financial industry, supported by relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
