Overview

As a Product Owner at Rapsodo, you will drive the internal execution engine that turns product direction into well-defined, build-ready work for our engineering teams. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand objectives and customer needs, then translate them into clear requirements, structured plans, and coordinated development efforts.

Your role centres on bringing clarity, momentum, and alignment to complex technical work — ensuring Product Engineers and cross-functional R&D teams have what they need to design, integrate, and validate features successfully. You will oversee requirement definition, cross-team coordination, progress tracking, and readiness checks that keep development moving smoothly from concept to launch.

You will play a central role in reducing ambiguity, enabling effective decision-making, and ensuring each release is well-scoped, high quality, and grounded in real-world athletic use cases.

The Role:

We’re looking for a Product Owner who thrives in fast-moving engineering environments — someone who can bring order to complexity, align technical teams, and keep development flowing toward meaningful outcomes.

If you excel at clarifying requirements, coordinating across functions, anticipating dependencies, and driving features to completion, you will make a strong impact here.

What You’ll Do

System Thinking & Integration Awareness

  • Understand how hardware, software, and interconnected system components come together to deliver reliable end-to-end product behaviour.
  • Anticipate integration challenges early and work with R&D teams to address system-level dependencies.
  • Ensure requirements, assumptions, and constraints reflect the realities of multi-layered product architectures.

Translate Product Direction Into Clear Requirements

  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand feature goals, customer needs, and product priorities.
  • Convert product concepts into clear requirement packages and acceptance criteria
  • Maintain a clear and organised backlog that enables realistic planning and confident execution.

Drive Feature Execution & Delivery

  • Coordinate implementation plans across engineering teams.
  • Work confidently across products that combine hardware, software, and interconnected system components — ensuring each layer aligns with intended behaviour and integration expectations.
  • Track progress, dependencies, and timelines, escalating risks early and constructively.

Enable Effective Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Serve as the point of clarity across R&D teams.
  • Facilitate smooth handovers across system layers, ensuring each team understands inputs, outputs, and constraints.
  • Support integration efforts by aligning assumptions, data flows, and expected system behaviour.

Strengthen Product Readiness & Validation

  • Define validation criteria and ensure features behave as intended across real-world workflows.
  • Partner with QA on coverage, release preparedness, and issue resolution.
  • Support field testing or internal evaluations to confirm performance and stability.

Coordinate Internal Stakeholders Through Execution

  • Provide timely updates on readiness, risks, and release feasibility.
  • Feed accurate engineering progress into planning and internal alignment discussions.
  • Ensure delivery expectations align with overall product direction and business needs.

Build Predictability & Process Discipline

  • Document requirements, decisions, dependencies, and release notes with clarity and consistency.
  • Contribute to improving planning routines, coordination practices, and development workflows.
  • Help establish repeatable playbooks for requirement management and product release readiness.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years in product ownership, technical program management, systems coordination, or similar delivery-focused roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline; Master’s degree is an advantage.
  • Strong ability to break down product direction into actionable, well-defined requirements.
  • Experience collaborating with Engineering and QA teams on products that combine hardware, software, and interconnected system components.
  • Skilled in coordinating across functions, resolving ambiguity, and managing parallel workstreams.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills — crisp, structured, and detail-oriented.
  • High ownership mindset with strong follow-through in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Interest in sports technology or data-driven performance tools is a plus.

Why Rapsodo?

At Rapsodo, you won’t just manage tasks — you’ll be the link that brings engineering, product direction, and quality together.

  • You’ll turn ideas into precise execution.
  • You’ll play a key role in delivering technology trusted by athletes worldwide.
  • You’ll help shape scalable, reliable processes as we grow.

If you’re looking for a role where clarity, coordination, and purposeful execution lead to real on-field impact, apply now and help us build what’s next in sports technology.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
