Production Operative Pollington, Goole DN14 0DU 40 hours per week, Mon - Fri (6am - 2pm) Salary £30,701 per annum

Marshalls Civils & Drainage, part of our building solution division partners with customers to design, engineer and manufacture precast solutions that support critical infrastructure and civil engineering projects. Our engineering-led approach combines technical expertise with innovative manufacturing to deliver integrated solutions that are safer to install, built to last and designed to perform for decades.

We're now looking for a Production Operative to join our Manufacturing team at Pollington.

So what's the mission? You’ll join a hands-on manufacturing team at the heart of producing our industry leading concrete drainage solutions, from large pipes to manholes. You’ll build your skills using a range of tools, machinery, and lifting equipment, all while working closely with a supportive team around you.

This is a role where you can really make an impact. You’ll play a key part in keeping production running smoothly, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency making sure we deliver the high standards we’re known for.

What are the mission-critical skills?

  • Proven and consistent ability to operate and monitor production machinery safely and efficiently
  • Experience setting up machines, adjusting parameters, and ensuring optimal performance
  • Ability to identify faults, troubleshoot issues, and escalate where necessary
  • Basic mechanical knowledge with the ability to carry out routine checks and minor maintenance
  • Understanding of production processes, machine cycles, and output optimisation
  • Experience completing start-up, shutdown, and changeover procedures
  • Ability to read and follow technical instructions, SOPs, and production specifications
  • Strong focus on quality control, ensuring products meet required standards
  • Accurate recording of production data, downtime, and performance metrics
  • Strong awareness and commitment to SHEQ standards
  • FLT licence desirable
