Claro Video es una empresa líder en telecomunicaciones y servicios de streaming, comprometida en ofrecer experiencias digitales de entretenimiento de alta calidad. Buscamos un/a QA Automation Engineer Semi-Senior para sumarse al equipo de calidad y liderar la optimización de los procesos de evaluación continua del producto.

Esta es una oportunidad 100% remota para profesionales radicados en Latinoamérica, trabajando en colaboración constante con equipos multidisciplinarios e internacionales.

Descripción del puesto

Como QA Automation Engineer, serás responsable de diseñar, automatizar y mantener pruebas web, móviles, de API y end-to-end utilizando ZeuZ, una plataforma no-code asistida por IA. Tu objetivo principal será reducir el esfuerzo manual y acelerar los tiempos de ejecución en los ciclos de regresión de las plataformas de Claro Video, garantizando una entrega constante de calidad.

Buscamos un perfil con mentalidad analítica y foco en la eficiencia, capaz de optimizar suites de prueba, identificar la causa raíz de fallas y capacitar al equipo en el uso de herramientas modernas de testing.

Proceso de Selección

El proceso consta habitualmente de 3-4 etapas y toma en promedio entre 3-4 semanas en completarse, dependiendo de eventuales pruebas técnicas adicionales:

  • Entrevista inicial con el equipo de reclutamiento de Workana
  • Entrevista técnica con el cliente
  • Entrevista de ajuste cultural con el manager del cliente
  • Entrevista final con C-level

Dado que Workana maneja múltiples clientes, si apruebas la primera ronda con nuestro equipo de reclutamiento, también podrás ser considerado/a para otras oportunidades relevantes en caso de que esta opción inicial no prospere.

Responsabilidades

  • Diseñar y automatizar pruebas web, móviles, de API y end-to-end utilizando la plataforma ZeuZ.
  • Definir, ejecutar y mantener suites de regresión automatizadas, priorizando la cobertura de flujos críticos de la plataforma.
  • Generar evidencias de testing detalladas (logs, capturas y reportes) para cada ciclo de prueba.
  • Analizar los resultados de ejecución para diagnosticar fallas reales, identificar falsos positivos y mantener la estabilidad de la suite.
  • Colaborar de manera estrecha con los equipos de desarrollo para reportar, priorizar y hacer seguimiento de bugs detectados.
  • Proponer mejoras continuas orientadas a reducir el esfuerzo y el tiempo empleado en los ciclos de regresión.
  • Integrar la ejecución de pruebas automatizadas dentro del pipeline de CI/CD del cliente cuando aplique.
  • Capacitar y apoyar al equipo interno en la adopción y uso efectivo de la herramienta ZeuZ.

Requirements

  • 2 a 4 años de experiencia demostrable en automatización de pruebas (QA Automation).
  • Experiencia previa con herramientas no-code / low-code de testing asistido por IA o sólida disposición para aprender y especializarse en ZeuZ.
  • Conocimiento sólido en testing de aplicaciones web, móviles y consumo de APIs (mínimo REST).
  • Familiaridad con metodologías ágiles e integración de pruebas en pipelines de CI/CD.
  • Capacidad de análisis para diagnosticar fallas reales frente a inestabilidad de la suite (flaky tests).
  • Nivel de inglés B2 (intermedio-avanzado) como mínimo, para comunicación, coordinación y documentación con el equipo.
  • Debe estar radicado/a en Latinoamérica.

Bonus

  • Experiencia previa específica utilizando ZeuZ u otras plataformas de testing asistido por IA (como Testim, Mabl o Functionize).
  • Background previo en herramientas de automatización tradicional como Selenium, Appium, Cypress o Playwright.
  • Experiencia previa en la industria de streaming, telecomunicaciones o productos de software con alta frecuencia de releases.
