Job Summary

We're looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to join one of our growing client teams. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about software quality, testing best practices, and delivering exceptional user experiences. You'll work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure applications meet the highest standards before release.

Whether you specialize in manual testing, automated testing, or both, you'll play a key role in identifying issues, improving product reliability, and helping build software that customers love.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Perform manual functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and user acceptance testing.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts where applicable.
  • Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects.
  • Work closely with software engineers to reproduce and resolve bugs.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning.
  • Validate new features, enhancements, and bug fixes before deployment.
  • Perform API testing and verify backend functionality.
  • Test web, mobile, and cloud-based applications across multiple browsers and devices.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve overall software quality.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, documentation, and testing standards.
  • Monitor application performance and usability during testing.
  • Support production releases and perform post-release validation.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (QA) or Software Testing.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience performing both manual and automated testing across web, mobile, or SaaS applications.
  • Proficiency with QA and testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, Postman, Swagger, JMeter, TestRail, Zephyr, Xray, Jira, Azure DevOps, Git, GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, BrowserStack, and similar industry-standard platforms.
  • Familiarity with programming or scripting languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Python, C#, or SQL.
  • Experience testing APIs, databases, cross-browser functionality, performance, and cloud-based applications using modern QA tools and frameworks.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering and product teams.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote, fast-paced environment.
  • Nice to have: experience testing SaaS or mobile applications (iOS/Android), accessibility (WCAG), security or penetration testing, AI-assisted testing tools, distributed remote teams, and an ISTQB certification.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
