The posting

Location: Hanger Lane, West London

Employment Type: Permanent

An experienced Quality Assurance Engineer is required to join a leading M&E contractor delivering a major infrastructure project in West London.

The successful candidate will support the project delivery team in ensuring mechanical and electrical installations are completed in accordance with approved designs, project specifications, quality procedures and relevant industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage and maintain quality assurance processes across M&E installation works.

· Carry out inspections and ensure works comply with approved drawings and specifications.

· Produce and manage Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).

· Complete and maintain quality records and inspection documentation.

· Monitor installation quality and identify non-conformances.

· Raise, manage and close out NCRs where required.

· Coordinate inspections with Construction Managers, Engineers and subcontractors.

· Review installation documentation and technical information.

· Support snagging, testing, commissioning and handover activities.

· Ensure quality documentation is completed accurately and maintained throughout the project.

· Assist with internal and client quality audits.

· Work closely with the wider project team to drive high standards of installation and workmanship.

Requirements

Candidate Requirements

· Previous experience in a QA/QC or Quality Engineer position within construction, M&E or building services.

· Strong understanding of construction quality assurance processes.

· Experience producing and managing ITPs and inspection records.

· Good knowledge of M&E installation and construction processes.

· Experience managing NCRs and quality close-out.

· Confident reviewing drawings and technical documentation.

· Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

· Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

· Major infrastructure, rail, tunnelling or similarly complex project experience would be advantageous.
