The posting

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Ensure daily implementation of HACCP, GMP, and company quality procedures.
  • Monitor production activities to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
  • Support internal and external quality audits.
  • Ensure compliance with customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Verify that quality records are completed accurately and maintained.

Quality Control & Product Inspection

  • Supervise quality inspections throughout raw materials, production, packaging, and finished goods.
  • Review inspection results and ensure timely disposition of non-conforming products.
  • Monitor Critical Control Points (CCPs) and quality checkpoints.
  • Approve product release according to established quality standards when delegated by the Quality Manager.
  • Ensure laboratory and testing activities are completed according to procedures.

Continuous Improvement

  • Investigate quality deviations and customer complaints.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Recommend process improvements to reduce defects, waste, and product rejections.
  • Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality issues.

Team Leadership & Training

  • Supervise, coach, and evaluate Quality Inspectors and Technicians.
  • Allocate daily tasks and ensure adequate shift coverage.
  • Conduct on-the-job training on quality procedures and food safety practices.
  • Promote a culture of quality, food safety, and continuous improvement.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare daily and weekly quality reports.
  • Monitor quality KPIs and communicate performance trends to the Quality Manager.
  • Ensure timely completion and filing of all quality documentation.
  • Escalate critical quality issues and non-conformities promptly.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • HACCP and ISO 22000 certifications are preferred.

Experience

  • 5–7 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or team leader role.

Technical Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, and food safety regulations.
  • Knowledge of quality inspection techniques and laboratory testing.
  • Experience in CAPA, root cause analysis, and quality documentation.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
