A regional organisation is seeking an experienced Regional IT Infrastructure & Security Manager to oversee its IT operations, infrastructure and security capabilities across multiple locations.

This position combines strategic planning with hands-on operational leadership. The successful candidate will ensure that the organisation’s technology environment remains secure, resilient and scalable while supporting digital workplace improvements and regional business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Regional IT Operations • Lead the day-to-day management of IT systems and services across the headquarters, branch offices and overseas entities. • Establish consistent standards for the procurement, configuration, deployment, maintenance and replacement of IT equipment. • Ensure high availability, performance and operational stability across the organisation’s technology environment. • Manage third-party technology vendors and service providers, including service delivery, issue resolution and project coordination.

Infrastructure and Connectivity • Oversee the organisation’s LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless networks and cloud-based infrastructure across multiple locations. • Monitor system and network performance, identify potential risks and coordinate timely corrective actions. • Maintain secure and reliable connectivity between offices, remote users and overseas operations. • Manage servers, shared storage, file systems and other core infrastructure services.

Cross-Platform Systems and Cloud Services • Manage an environment comprising Windows computers, Apple macOS devices and mobile endpoints. • Drive the integration of Microsoft Active Directory, identity and access management, mobile device management and cross-platform file-sharing solutions. • Administer and integrate Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Apple iCloud and other business applications within a hybrid environment. • Maintain appropriate controls over user accounts, email, collaboration tools, data access and cloud-based file storage.

Information Security and Data Protection • Develop and implement security controls covering access rights, endpoint protection, antivirus, system patching and device compliance. • Establish and maintain Data Loss Prevention measures to reduce the risk of unauthorised access, disclosure or transfer of company information. • Oversee firewall security, endpoint monitoring and the protection of corporate systems and data. • Coordinate vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, remediation activities and employee security-awareness programmes.

IT Governance, Risk and Compliance • Develop and maintain regional IT policies, standards, procedures and audit controls. • Ensure technology practices are aligned with applicable local regulations, corporate requirements and recognised frameworks such as ISO 27001 and GDPR. • Maintain accurate system documentation, asset records, access-control records and audit evidence. • Identify technology and cybersecurity risks and provide practical recommendations to management.

Projects and Regional Integration • Lead infrastructure, cloud, security and system-integration projects across the organisation. • Support the integration and standardisation of technology environments within overseas subsidiaries and branch offices. • Manage project scope, timelines, resources, vendors, risks and stakeholder communications. • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve security, efficiency, scalability and business continuity.

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline. • At least 8 years of relevant IT infrastructure, MIS or technology operations experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a managerial or team-lead capacity. • Proven experience supporting multi-site or multinational business operations. • Strong hands-on knowledge of mixed Windows and macOS environments. • Practical experience with Active Directory, identity and access management, MDM solutions and cross-platform security. • Sound technical knowledge of LAN, WAN, VPN, servers, firewalls, cloud infrastructure and endpoint management. • Experience managing Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and related cloud collaboration platforms. • Strong understanding of information security, DLP, vulnerability management, technology audits and risk controls. • Demonstrated ability to lead regional projects and manage external vendors. • Working proficiency in Chinese is required to communicate with Chinese-speaking counterparts and stakeholders. • Travel to various offices within Singapore and occasional regional business travel may be required.

Preferred Certifications • Microsoft Azure Administrator, Solutions Architect or Microsoft 365 certification • Apple Certified Support Professional or an equivalent macOS certification • CISSP, CCNP, PMP or other relevant infrastructure, security or project-management credentials

What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate is a practical and composed technology leader who can balance strategic planning with hands-on operational involvement. You should be comfortable managing complex regional environments, responding to critical issues and communicating effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
