The ideal candidate will bring strong sales leadership experience in lending or financial services, with the ability to drive business growth while maintaining compliance, customer satisfaction, and portfolio health.
This role requires a balance of commercial focus, disciplined sales funnel management, customer relationship development, and early-delinquency monitoring. The successful candidate will be responsible for strengthening regional performance, building effective partner networks, and ensuring smooth coordination across sales, credit, risk, operations, and collections teams.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Lead regional education loan sales, customer acquisition, and business development in line with approved targets and growth strategies.
- Generate and manage leads through direct sales, educational institutions, consultants, referral partners, and other approved channels.
- Counsel students and co-applicants on course and institution eligibility, funding requirements, repayment structures, and documentation.
- Oversee application data capture, customer consent, source attribution, and accurate record-keeping in approved systems.
- Ensure the timely collection and validation of admission, academic, KYC, income, banking, and collateral documents.
- Coordinate with Credit, Underwriting, Operations, Verification, and partner teams to resolve queries and progress applications within agreed service levels.
- Monitor the lead-to-login, login-to-sanction, and sanction-to-disbursement funnel, analyse conversion gaps, and implement corrective actions.
- Communicate sanction terms, conditions, and pending requirements clearly and accurately to customers.
- Monitor regional portfolio quality, including X-bucket performance, early delinquency, and location- and channel-level risk trends.
- Coordinate with Collections, Credit, Risk, and Operations teams on pre-due, pre-bounce, and overdue follow-ups in accordance with approved conduct standards.
- Identify potential fraud indicators, unsuitable sourcing patterns, and emerging portfolio risks, escalating concerns through established channels.
- Establish regional sales priorities, review operating performance, allocate resources, and strengthen team capabilities.
- Maintain compliance with lending policies, customer confidentiality requirements, approved communication standards, and audit processes.
- Prepare regional MIS, performance reports, and action plans for senior management.
- Drive process improvements and channel initiatives that enhance sales productivity, turnaround time, customer experience, and portfolio health.
What Makes You a Great Fit

- Experience managing sales funnels, conversion metrics, disbursement targets, and performance reporting.
- Working knowledge of portfolio quality indicators, early-delinquency monitoring, repayment follow-ups, and X-bucket management.

- Strong understanding of KYC requirements, fraud awareness, compliance standards, and responsible customer conduct.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder-management, and team leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a disciplined approach to execution and follow-up.
- Ability to balance sales growth, customer experience, turnaround time, and portfolio quality.
- High standards of integrity, accountability, customer confidentiality, and professional judgement.
