Location: Shreveport, LA

Facility: Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital providing specialized care for patients recovering from illness, injury, surgery, or other disabling conditions.

Job Type: Per Diem (PRN)

Hourly Rate: $50/hr

Shift: Nights (7:00pm to 7:30am)

Duration: 12 hours

Experience: 1 year of consecutive acute care experience in last 5 years

License: Active Louisiana RN License or compact

Certifications: BLS

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
  • Assess patient conditions and monitor for changes.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
  • Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team.
  • Educate patients and families on medications, treatment plans, and ongoing care.
  • Document patient care accurately and maintain required records.

Requirements

  • Must have 1+ year of acute care or rehabilitation hospital experience within the last 5 years.
  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing program
  • Active and unencumbered Louisiana RN or Compact License
  • Active BLS Certification
  • Negative TB within last 12 months
  • Hep B Series or Titer
  • MMR Series or Titer
  • Tdap Vaccine within last 10 years or Titer
  • Varicella Series or Titer
