SUMMARY:
ENGLISH AND SPANISH ARE REQUIRED!
The Registrar Assistant will be responsible for recording, organizing, and managing activities related to student records and certification testing. The assistant is also responsible for working on retention and supporting on-campus certification testing. Activities and operations include calling students, data entry, organization, and maintaining academic records such as externship hours and exams, etc.
ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process official and unofficial transcript requests.
- Assist with Re-entry student process
- Prepare enrollment verification, graduation verification, and student status letters.
- Order, receive, organize, and assemble diplomas for distribution.
- Enter and maintain student externship/practicum hours.
- Assist with activating student records in the Student Information System Verity.
- Assist in reviewing and auditing student records for accuracy and completeness.
- Send student drop, withdrawal, and dismissal notifications via email.
- Maintain confidential student records in compliance with institutional policies.
- Send pre-approvals and International POG's for evaluation/translation
- Create courses and course sections within the SIS if needed.
- Add, drop, and enter grades on student course registrations (Cash Students).
- Assist with Cash Programs operations, including course setup and enrollment maintenance.
- Process student graduations and update graduation statuses (Cash Students)
- Attend and assist with New Student Orientation sessions.
Retention Activity:
· Contact students who have missed scheduled classes.
· Assist students with submitting externship documents
· Assist the collection and posting of attendance
· Collection and filing of academic documents.
National Exams:
· Promote and assist students with the National Exam registration process.
· Contact students to schedule and attend certification testing.
· Serve as the liaison between students and certifying agency, NAPUSA site

This is a full time on site position in Miramar.
