JM Test is seeking a dedicated Rental Coordinator to join our dynamic team at the forefront of calibration innovation across Western Canada. As a Rental Coordinator, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our customer relationships while ensuring smooth operations within the rental department. In this role, you will interface with clients, manage equipment rentals, and support our highly trained sales team in driving business growth. Responsibilities

  • Manage the rental process from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and collection of rental equipment.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to identify and fulfill customer rental needs efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, tracking equipment availability and status.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Ensure all rental equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and ready for use.
  • Assist in preparing rental contracts and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor rental schedules and deadlines to optimize equipment usage and minimize downtime.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in rental coordination or a similar role within the business supplies and equipment industry.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple rental requests effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
  • Proficient in using computer software for inventory management and order processing.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively across departments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for onsite assessments and client meetings.
