Position Overview:

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to fill an opening at a hospital located in Spokane, WA. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality respiratory care services to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders.
  • Set up and operate ventilators, oxygen delivery systems, and other respiratory equipment.
  • Administer respiratory therapies including aerosolized medications and chest physiotherapy.
  • Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling and analysis.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and respond to emergency situations (e.g., code blue).

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Education: Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirements as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
  • Licensure:
  • Active Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner preferred but not required; new graduates may be considered.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in respiratory therapy equipment, ventilator management, airway clearance techniques, and oxygen therapy.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, ability to work in fast-paced environments, and compassionate patient care.
