Il ruolo

Come Engineering Manager sarai responsabile della gestione strategica e operativa delle attività di manutenzione dell'hotel, assicurando il corretto funzionamento di impianti, attrezzature e infrastrutture nel rispetto degli standard qualitativi del brand, delle normative di sicurezza e delle aspettative di una clientela internazionale di lusso.

Lavorando a stretto contatto con il Director of Engineering, guiderai il team tecnico e contribuirai al continuo miglioramento delle performance operative della struttura.

Ti occuperai di:

Gestione tecnica e operativa

  • Pianificare, coordinare e supervisionare gli interventi di manutenzione ordinaria, straordinaria e preventiva della struttura
  • Garantire l'efficienza operativa degli impianti elettrici, meccanici, HVAC, idraulici, antincendio e dei sistemi di Building Management
  • Intervenire tempestivamente nella gestione di guasti e criticità tecniche, minimizzandone l'impatto sulle attività operative e sull'esperienza degli ospiti
  • Monitorare e coordinare le attività manutentive in collaborazione con il team Engineering
  • Effettuare ispezioni periodiche per verificare il rispetto degli standard qualitativi e dei programmi di manutenzione
  • Supervisionare le attività svolte da fornitori e aziende esterne all'interno della struttura
  • Supportare lo sviluppo e la realizzazione di progetti tecnici e di miglioramento infrastrutturale

Leadership e gestione del team

  • Coordinare, motivare e sviluppare il team di manutenzione garantendo elevati standard di performance
  • Organizzare turnazioni, reperibilità e programmi di formazione tecnica continua
  • Partecipare agli incontri operativi quotidiani per garantire un'efficace comunicazione tra i reparti
  • Promuovere una cultura aziendale orientata alla sicurezza, alla qualità e all'attenzione al dettaglio

Standard di lusso e Guest Experience

  • Collaborare con Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage e gli altri reparti dell'hotel per assicurare un servizio efficiente e tempestivo
  • Garantire che camere, aree comuni e spazi operativi rispettino costantemente gli standard estetici e funzionali richiesti dal brand
  • Gestire eventuali richieste o segnalazioni di ospiti VIP con professionalità, discrezione e spirito di servizio

Compliance, sicurezza e sostenibilità

  • Assicurare la conformità alle normative vigenti in materia di sicurezza, salute, ambiente ed efficienza energetica
  • Coordinare audit tecnici, ispezioni e verifiche da parte degli enti competenti
  • Promuovere iniziative di sostenibilità e progetti di efficientamento energetico
  • Monitorare gli aspetti legati alla sicurezza delle attività svolte da fornitori e imprese esterne

Budget e gestione fornitori

  • Supportare la preparazione e la gestione del budget manutentivo e degli investimenti CAPEX
  • Collaborare nella selezione, negoziazione e supervisione di fornitori e contractor
  • Monitorare costi, contratti di manutenzione e performance dei partner esterni

Orario di lavoro: Full-time, 5 giorni su 7, turni unici

Sede di lavoro: Milano

Requirements

Il/la candidato/a ideale possiede:

  • Diploma tecnico o Laurea in Ingegneria (Meccanica, Elettrica, Edile o affini)
  • Esperienza consolidata di almeno 5-7 anni in ruoli analoghi, preferibilmente nel settore hospitality di lusso o in contesti ad elevata complessità impiantistica
  • Ottima conoscenza della lingua inglese
  • Esperienza nella gestione di team tecnici strutturati
  • Approfondita conoscenza degli impianti alberghieri e delle attività di manutenzione preventiva e correttiva
  • Familiarità con software di manutenzione programmata e sistemi BMS (Building Management System)
  • Conoscenza della normativa italiana in materia di sicurezza e prevenzione incendi
  • Spiccate capacità di leadership e orientamento al servizio
  • Eccellenti doti organizzative e di problem solving
  • Elevata attenzione agli standard qualitativi e ai dettagli
  • Capacità di lavorare efficacemente in contesti dinamici e ad alta pressione
  • Disponibilità a lavorare su turni e nei fine settimana in base alle esigenze operative
