The posting

Role Overview

Our client, a Lloyd's third-party managing agent, is seeking experienced Risk Capture Technicians to support their Risk Capture as a Service function. This role involves reviewing insurance slips and supporting documents, extracting key policy information, and accurately recording it within the client's Policy Administration System (PAS).

Key Responsibilities

  • Process London Market insurance underwriting data in line with applicable procedure guides
  • Analyse technical data and calculate technical transactions, including limits, premiums, and deductions
  • Manage internal and external queries to support the accuracy and efficiency of data processing
  • Apply taxes and deductions accurately during risk/endorsement processing
  • Perform premium calculations, including pro-rating against policy periods and calculating premiums from schedules

Key Performance Indicators

  • Process insurance underwriting data on a timely and accurate basis, adhering to:
  • Benchmark standards
  • Accuracy targets
  • Contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs) per client/service

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of London Market insurance terminology
  • Ability to read and interpret slips and endorsements across all lines of business
  • Working knowledge of standard market practice for processing risks and endorsements into a PAS system
  • Prior experience in a risk capture, technical processing, or policy administration role within the Lloyd's/London Market is essential
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working to contractual SLAs
