The posting

Cura Health is looking for a caring Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our senior community! We have full-time and part-time opportunities available, with an every other weekend schedule. If you enjoy making a difference, supporting others, and helping residents feel safe and well cared for—we’d love to hear from you!

This is a vital role where you’ll deliver great patient-centered care during the week, and with a weekend rotation, helping ensure excellent outcomes for our residents!

What you’ll do:

  • Provide direct nursing care for residents on the floor—offering support, education, medications, and treatments.
  • Monitor and assess residents’ health status, vital signs, and overall condition, and report changes promptly.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
  • Accurately document care provided and keep records complete and up to date.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to support continuity of care.
  • Help maintain a safe, comfortable environment for residents, families, and visitors.
  • Lead and empower NAR staff on the floor by supporting residents with their needs and ADLs as shift leader.

Requirements

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
  • Completion of an accredited nursing program.
  • Previous clinical experience preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliability to work every other weekend as required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
