The posting

Location: Malaysia preferred Format: 12-month fixed-term contract Market: Korea Experience: 1–3 years Language: Fluent in Korean and professional English

We’re looking for a driven Korean-speaking Sales Development Representative to support the growth of a publisher acquisition programme across South Korea.

This role focuses on identifying and qualifying prospective partners, building relationships within the local app developer, gaming and web publisher community, and creating opportunities for the wider sales team.

You’ll combine research, outreach and relationship-building with a strong understanding of the local market. You’ll be comfortable starting conversations, learning how digital businesses generate revenue, and helping prospective partners understand the value of digital advertising and monetisation solutions.

This is a great opportunity for someone with 1–3 years of early-career sales or business development experience who wants to build their career within technology, apps, gaming and digital advertising.

Lead Generation & Qualification

  • Research prospective app developers, gaming studios, web publishers and digital businesses across South Korea using Salesforce, Google Play Store, App Store, market intelligence platforms, industry events and networking.
  • Qualify leads using agreed criteria and relevant business and app metrics, including downloads, active users, revenue and growth potential.
  • Build and maintain an organised pipeline of prospects, keeping lead status and activity accurate in Salesforce.
  • Stay close to local market developments and identify emerging businesses, trends and opportunities worth pursuing.

Outreach & Relationship Building

  • Execute targeted outreach through email, phone, social media, events and community engagement.
  • Build relationships with prospective publishers and developers and understand their business, growth priorities and monetisation needs.
  • Communicate relevant programme and product value propositions clearly and confidently.
  • Support publishers in understanding digital advertising and monetisation solutions and connect them with the right internal expertise where required.
  • Build credibility within South Korean's app developer, gaming and publisher communities through thoughtful and culturally appropriate engagement.

Sales & Market Support

  • Schedule and coordinate qualified meetings between prospective partners and the wider sales team.
  • Support preparation for prospect meetings and presentations by gathering relevant company, market and performance information.
  • Track outreach activity, meetings, pipeline progress and conversion in Salesforce.
  • Share recurring prospect feedback, local-market insights and emerging opportunities with regional stakeholders.
  • Support relevant industry events, networking opportunities and partner engagement initiatives.

About You

  • Ideally 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales, sales development, business development, partnerships or another client-facing commercial role.
  • Fluent Korean with strong written and verbal communication skills, alongside professional working English.
  • Strong understanding of South Korean's business culture and the confidence to engage professionally with local stakeholders.
  • Curious about technology, apps, gaming, digital advertising and the wider publisher ecosystem.
  • Strong research skills with the ability to identify promising businesses and assess commercial opportunities.
  • Confident starting conversations with prospective clients and developing relationships over time.
  • Comfortable working with data and using simple insights to support outreach and commercial conversations.
  • Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple prospects, follow-ups and priorities.
  • Proactive, self-motivated and eager to learn.
  • Experience with Salesforce or another CRM is useful.
  • Previous experience within technology, apps, gaming, AdTech, media or digital businesses is valuable but not essential.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
