About Sensize

Sensize is a fast-growing technology company helping organisations track reusable assets such as pallets, crates, roll cages, totes, containers and other returnable transport items. Our solutions provide visibility and improve operational efficiency across global supply chains.

We work with some of the world’s leading logistics, pooling, retail and manufacturing organisations and are expanding rapidly across Europe and North America.

What makes Sensize different is that we operate in a relatively untapped market with a unique hardware-and-software solution. Unlike many SDR roles, our solution is often new to potential customers, making it easier to start meaningful conversations.

The Role

We are looking for an ambitious, proactive, and organised Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support our commercial growth.

You will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential customers, generating qualified sales opportunities, booking meetings, and building a strong pipeline for the Business Development team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in B2B technology sales within a fast-growing company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research target markets, industries and prospective customers.
  • Identify relevant decision-makers and key stakeholders within target organisations.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities via email, LinkedIn, telephone and other channels.
  • Qualify leads against agreed criteria and identify customer challenges and opportunities.
  • Book discovery meetings and sales appointments for the Business Development team.
  • Maintain accurate records of all activities, contacts and opportunities within HubSpot CRM.
  • Support account-based marketing and targeted outreach campaigns.
  • Work closely with the marketing and commercial teams to maximise lead generation activities.
  • Attend industry events, exhibitions and networking opportunities where required.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of prospecting processes, messaging and campaign.

Requirements

Skills and Experience

  • Commercial experience in a Sales Development Representative (SDR), Business Development Representative (BDR), lead generation or outbound sales role.
  • Experience conducting outbound prospecting through email, LinkedIn and telephone outreach.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Confident using LinkedIn, CRM systems and digital sales tools.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, resilient and comfortable working independently.
  • Ability to research complex organisations and identify key decision-makers.
  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, SaaS, technology or industrial sectors would be advantageous but is not essential.

Who Will Enjoy This Role?

This role is likely to suit someone who:

  • Is naturally curious and enjoys researching companies, industries and markets.
  • Likes understanding how businesses operate and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Enjoys speaking with senior decision-makers and building professional relationships.
  • Is resilient and does not take rejection personally.
  • Enjoys problem-solving and finding creative ways to engage prospects.
  • Is self-motivated and enjoys working towards measurable goals.
  • Wants to build a long-term career in B2B technology sales.

What Success Looks Like

  • Consistent generation of qualified sales opportunities.
  • Accurate and up-to-date CRM management.
  • High levels of prospect engagement and meeting conversion.
  • Strong collaboration with the wider commercial team.
  • Contribution to pipeline growth and revenue generation.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
