The posting
Hirano America, Inc. is seeking a bilingual Sales Representative to serve as the primary North American contact for customers using equipment manufactured by Hirano Tecseed in Japan. Based in the Atlanta-area office in Norcross, Georgia, this role focuses on existing-customer relationships, after-sales service coordination, and clear communication between customers, Hirano America, and the Japan headquarters.
You will maintain regular contact with customers, primarily battery manufacturers; coordinate maintenance, troubleshooting, parts, and modification requests; gather customer needs and relay accurate information to Japan; maintain installed-base records; and support quotations and billing documentation. You will also coordinate schedules among service engineers, local partners, and customers; collect market and competitor information; help develop service agreements; and provide initial support for new customer inquiries.
The role also supports visiting staff from Japan with travel logistics, on-site coordination, and English communication. It covers customers across North America and includes travel within the United States and Canada, particularly to Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee, Arizona, and Ontario. This position reports directly to the Sales Manager at Hirano Tecseed in Japan, with a dotted-line report to the CEO of Hirano America.

• Strong English communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn, work flexibly, and contribute beyond narrowly defined responsibilities in a small office environment.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Word, and other basic office software.
• Ability and willingness to travel approximately 10–20% within the United States and Canada and occasionally enter factory environments using appropriate PPE.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
Preferred: experience in manufacturing, machinery, B2B sales, Japanese companies or customers, and the ability to understand basic mechanical or electrical documents.

• Annual salary range: $60,000–$70,000, depending on experience, plus potential bonus.
• Full-time employment; exempt or non-exempt classification will depend on experience.
• Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
• Paid vacation and sick leave.
• 401(k) program.
• Reimbursement of approved travel expenses.
