The posting

Join us for the Holiday Season!

The Loss Prevention Associate protects our people, our guests, and our product by keeping the flagship safe, secure, and running smoothly. This role sits at the intersection of guest experience and operational safety, managing access points and lines, responding to incidents and emergencies, and maintaining a warm, welcoming presence on the floor.

Part-time (20 - 29 hours a week)

Creating the Magic

As a Loss Prevention Associate, you will:

  • Maintain a warm, welcoming presence throughout the store and at entry points, greeting guests, and helping them find their way, while staying alert to activity that could put guests, the team, or product at risk.
  • Manage the flagship's designated access point, accurately logging visitors in and out, ensuring only authorized individuals move through non-guest areas, and escalating any access control issues, including non-functioning passes, to the relevant team.
  • Respond to first aid needs on the floor, applying training to support guests and team members quickly and calmly.
  • Step in during incidents on the floor, helping to defuse the situation and completing incident report forms accurately and promptly to capture the detail needed for any follow-up action.
  • Own lost and found, logging and storing items accurately and reuniting guests with what they've lost, building trust in every interaction.
  • Control crowd flow and line management during peak periods, including outdoor line management during high-volume trading weeks and events, keeping guests moving safely and comfortably regardless of weather.
  • Monitor camera feeds and support evacuation, Code Adam, and other emergency response protocols, flagging concerns and following established procedures to keep guests and team members safe.
  • Work with store leadership and building security to resolve access and safety issues as they arise.
  • Support opening and closing routines, completing health and safety checklists to ensure the store is safe and ready before guests arrive and properly secured at the end of the day.
  • Distribute and track walkie-talkies, keeping communication equipment accounted for and in working order so the team can respond fast and stay coordinated.

What Success looks like

You’re doing well in this role when:

  • Guests experience you as a warm, welcoming presence, not a barrier to their visit.
  • Access points, equipment, and daily checklists are consistently accurate and ready, and the store opens and closes without issue.
  • Guests and team members feel supported during first aid moments, incidents, and emergencies, with calm response and accurate documentation every time.
  • Lost and found runs smoothly, and guests trust that what they've lost will be returned.
  • Lines and crowd flow move safely and comfortably, even during peak periods, events, or bad weather.
  • Store leadership and building security see you as easy and reliable to work with.

This role aligns with Level 1 in our Career Framework and provides a strong foundation for progression into Specialist roles (Level 2)

  • Reliability and attention to detail when it comes to documentation and process.
  • Flexibility to work across days, evenings, and weekends in a flagship retail environment, including outdoor line management in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
