  • Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring deadlines are met, with a focus on accurate inventory valuation and COGS reporting.
  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly financial statements and supporting schedules for review by the Financial Controller.
  • Assist the Financial Controller with variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast), particularly focusing on production costs and material variances.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, incorporating manufacturing-specific drivers.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and support, especially related to inventory and costing.
  • Maintain organized, accurate, and complete financial records (digital and physical).
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance function, especially related to manufacturing accounting workflows.
  • Utilize and maintain data integrity within the company's ERP system, ensuring it accurately reflects manufacturing operations.
  • Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
