The posting

We are hiring an Architect – Technical Office to prepare and review architectural drawings, BOQs, and technical reports, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and applicable building codes. The role involves coordinating with site, implementation, and procurement teams, resolving technical issues, monitoring project progress, and supporting efficient project execution.

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a recognized university.

* 5–10 years of proven experience in an architectural technical office, preferably within construction or contracting companies.

* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.

* Strong experience in preparing and reviewing architectural shop drawings and working drawings.

* Experience in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), quantity take-offs, and material schedules.

* Good knowledge of architectural detailing, construction methods, and material specifications.

* Ability to review drawings and identify technical discrepancies, design conflicts, and coordination issues.

* Experience coordinating architectural drawings with structural and MEP disciplines.

* Good understanding of local building codes, construction regulations, and technical standards.

* Experience reviewing technical submittals, material samples, and construction specifications.

* Ability to prepare as-built drawings and technical documentation.

* Knowledge of tender documents, contract specifications, and project requirements.

* Experience coordinating with site engineers, consultants, contractors, and procurement teams.

* Ability to provide technical solutions to site-related issues and support construction activities.

* Strong understanding of construction sequences, project schedules, and quality control procedures.

* Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

* Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

* High attention to detail and accuracy in drawings and technical documentation.

* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.

* Strong teamwork, communication, and coordination skills.

* Ability to work independently and make effective technical decisions.
