The Senior Athletics Education Manager, Pilates plays a critical leadership role in ensuring that the workout and its delivery remain tightly aligned as both our FS8 and VAURA Pilates brands scale. As the workout experience is our product, this role operates in direct alignment with the Director of Athletics to protect programming intent, movement quality, equipment use, and brand-specific coaching standards across the global network.

This role is responsible for executing athletics education with a focus on trainer induction, continuing education, Head Trainer enablement, quality control, and training delivery. In addition to core education execution, the Senior Athletics Education Manager leads the Training Manager team—setting priorities, managing performance, and ensuring consistent, high-quality execution across regions. Serving as the operational and educational backbone of athletics execution, this role ensures trainers, Head Trainers, Training Managers, and franchise partners are fully equipped to deliver a consistent, elevated member experience.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Management

  • Oversee and support the Training Manager team across the network, providing coaching, performance management, and day-to-day direction.
  • Set priorities and workload for Training Managers to ensure consistent, on-brand execution across regions.
  • Serve as the operational and educational backbone of athletics execution across both the FS8 and VAURA brands, acting as the escalation point on programming and education issues.

Develop & Implement Education Strategies

  • At the direction of and in close collaboration with the Director of Athletics, Pilates, design and execute comprehensive athletics education strategies aligning with brand programming, business objectives, and regional needs.
  • Identify education gaps, evolve standards, and deliver targeted solutions for trainers and Head Trainers.

Trainer Education & Induction

  • Lead FS8 and VAURA trainer inductions (virtual and in-person).
  • Ensure consistent onboarding standards across all studios and regions.
  • Maintain and evolve induction content as programming and equipment evolve.

Head Trainer Enablement

  • Lead Head Trainer inductions and ongoing education, maintaining close communication with studio Head Trainers.
  • Equip Head Trainers to lead, evaluate, coach, and support their trainer teams effectively.

Quality Control & Studio Support

  • Conduct quality control checks and respond to quality-related requests, providing clear and actionable feedback.
  • Support re-alignment efforts for studios open longer than one year requiring standards correction.
  • Lead initial studio trainings for VAURA and requested trainer inductions for FS8.

Continuing Education & Workshops

  • Plan and execute quarterly athletics workshops network-wide.
  • Support ongoing trainer development through structured continuing education pathways and contribute to Academy+ content, modules, and inspiration of the day (VAURA).
  • Support rollout of new class types and equipment, including new reformer launches.

Collaboration, Performance & Marketing Support

  • Partner closely with Athletics, Performance, Operations, Product, and Marketing teams, acting as a brand representative for athletics standards.
  • Support the performance team in the development of educational assets (up to 20% of weekly load) when needed.
  • Track key metrics (utilization rates, franchisee satisfaction, member experience scorecards) to measure education effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, best practices, and innovations in athletics-based education.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience (preferred fields of study: Kinesiology, Anatomy & Physiology, and/or Health & Wellness)
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience and a strong passion for customer service
  • Prior experience leading or managing a team, ideally within education, training, or coaching
  • Desirable background includes previous involvement in an education position, creating content on a large scale, and executing unit-by-unit implementation
  • A proven track record of successful content development, preferably in the franchise industry and/or the fitness industry

Benefits

  • Medical, Vision and Dental benefits
  • Competitive salary, based on experience
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Flexible PTO

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
