Our current portfolio has some 1100 homes across 40 communities and our developments are beautifully designed offering stunning community living.

You will be based at our 'Winchester Holts' development which compromises a selection of beautiful apartments as well as stylish residents lounge and landscaped gardens.

About our role

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Building & Community Coordinator to take ownership of our site operations, resident experience, and day-to-day facilities management.

In this dual-focus role, you will be the heart of our site, serving as the primary face to face contact for our residents while ensuring our building remains safe, fully compliant, and maintained to the highest premium standards.

Resident Relations & Community Building

  • Take full ownership as the primary, face-to-face point of contact for resident needs, driving community satisfaction through proactive, welcoming communication.
  • Plan, organise, and host engaging social events and initiatives to foster a vibrant, inclusive atmosphere.
  • Lead the customer onboarding journey, assisting new residents during move-in to ensure a seamless settling in experience.
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with residents and their families to drive long-term satisfaction.

Building Operations & Facilities Management

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure communal spaces, grounds, and gardens are kept in pristine condition.
  • Conduct regular building inspections and carry out routine compliance checks (fire alarm testing, emergency lighting, water testing).
  • Perform minor quick fixes, system resets, and manage water flushing regimes for vacant apartments.
  • Serve as the technical contact for internal Sales, Development, Property, and Completions teams regarding defect resolutions and post-handover works.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Take ownership of site wide Health & Safety protocols, ensuring complete regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain accurate digital and physical compliance logs, administrative records, and site event diaries.
  • Act as the primary on-site responder during emergencies, managing incidents calmly and efficiently.

Contractor & Administrative Management

  • Coordinate external contractors and service providers (maintenance, utilities, refuse, deliveries) to ensure high-quality standards and timely repairs.
  • Use internal IT and CRM systems to track requests, log data, and manage financial and operational records.
  • Identify operational efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.

Important details

  • You'll work 35 hours per week, 08:30 - 16:00 Monday to Friday.
  • At Pegasus, the safety and wellbeing of our residents are our highest priorities. Therefore, this role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check (we handle the application and cost for this).

About you

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be a 'people person' who takes genuine pride in their surroundings. You are as comfortable chatting with a resident over coffee as you are checking a fire alarm panel or coordinating a contractor.

Your skills & experience

  • Experience in facilities management, property maintenance, or luxury hospitality is a significant plus.
  • You take responsibility seriously. You understand the importance of Health & Safety compliance and are diligent when it comes to essential checks and record-keeping.
  • From managing a move-in schedule to planning a summer garden party, you can juggle administrative tasks and event planning.
  • You’re a clear communicator who enjoys working with internal teams and external contractors to get the job done right.

Your attributes

  • You understand that our developments aren't just buildings, they are homes. You’ll treat the development with the care and attention to detail it deserves.
  • You are punctual, professional, and possess a calm head when dealing with emergencies.
  • You are comfortable using basic IT systems for logging maintenance requests and maintaining digital records.

Invested in your wellbeing

At Pegasus Homes, we believe an effective work-life balance requires support across three key elements. By joining our team you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package.

  • FInancial Wellbeing Contributory pension with enhanced employer input, Life Assurance, a Company Discounts Portal, and a Refer-a-Friend scheme.
  • Mental Wellbeing Enhanced annual leave (with a holiday buying scheme), two paid volunteering days per year, and a comprehensive Employee Assistance Programme.
  • Physical Wellbeing A Health Cash Plan, 24/7 Virtual GP access, and discounted gym memberships.

Your recruitment journey

Our team personally reviews every application. Depending on the role, the process typically involves a telephone screening call, followed by one or two interview stages (virtual and/or in-person). We always encourage a site or office visit so you can experience life at Pegasus Homes firsthand. We promise to keep you updated throughout your journey.

We are an inclusive employer and welcome applications from all backgrounds. Please let us know if you require any reasonable adjustments during the process.

Note: Applicants must currently possess the right to work in the UK.

If you have the skills and experience we’re looking for, we’d love to hear from you!

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
