Are you an experienced localization professional or linguistic QA specialist?

We are seeking seasoned Farsi Linguistic Testers with a background in software localization and IT terminology to join our global linguistic community. In this role, you will perform linguistic QA on cutting-edge software applications and AI models for the Farsi market. If you bring strong LQA experience, deep cultural expertise, and own an M-Series Mac, we want to partner with you.

Position Overview

  • Language Pair: English to Farsi
  • Domain: Information Technology (IT), AI Models & Software Localization
  • Experience Level: Experienced (2+ years in Linguistic QA or Linguistic Testing)
  • Hardware Requirement: Must own a Mac device with an M-series chip (M1, M2, M3, M4, or newer). Note: This is an absolute technical requirement for our secure testing environment.
  • Employment type: Freelance / Independent contractor

Responsibilities

As a Senior Farsi Linguistic Tester, you will:

  • Execute Linguistic QA: Conduct rigorous linguistic, stylistic, and functional testing on localized Farsi software interfaces and AI-generated content.
  • Bug Tracking & Reporting: Identify, log, and regress linguistic errors, visual layout glitches (e.g. truncations, rendering/font issues, alignment), and functional defects using standard issue-tracking workflows.
  • Terminology & Style Guide Enforcement: Ensure absolute adherence to project glossaries, style guides, and brand-specific localization standards.
  • Contextual & Cultural Validation: Verify that localized content is culturally appropriate, idiomatically precise, and tailored for the Farsi market.
  • Collaborate with Lead Engineers: Provide constructive feedback and linguistic solutions to remote localization managers and QA leads in clear English.

Requirements

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Professional Experience: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in Linguistic QA, software localization testing, proofreading, or professional translation (English into Farsi).
  • Linguistic Proficiency: Native fluency in Farsi with exceptional command of grammar, typography, and orthography, paired with professional-level written English skills.
  • Hardware Specification (Mandatory): Active access to a Mac computer equipped with an Apple Silicon M-series chip (M1, M2, M3, M4, or newer).
  • LQA Methodology: Proven ability to differentiate between critical linguistic bugs, cosmetic layout defects, and preferential stylistic changes.
  • Cultural Competency: A strong, intuitive grasp of modern Farsi cultural nuances, localized language trends, and regional idiomatic expressions.
  • Technical Aptitude: Comfort navigating new software interfaces, adhering to detailed testing guidelines, and reporting technical/linguistic bugs clearly in English.
  • Work Environment: A reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace suitable for remote, independent contract work.
  • Attention to Quality: Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to consistently identify minor grammatical, formatting, and user-interface (UI) errors.

Benefits

  • Flexible Remote Work: Work from anywhere, managing your own hours around project deadlines.
  • Long-Term Collaboration Opportunities: We aim to build lasting partnerships with our freelance linguists; successful candidates will become part of our preferred talent pool for ongoing, periodic project assignments.
  • Cutting-Edge Tech: Gain experience working with advanced localization workflows, AI-driven translation tools, and global brand content.
  • Elite Projects: Build your portfolio by working on software utilized by millions of global users daily.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
