We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Brazil. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in both frontend and backend development to create innovative solutions that empower our users and drive business success. As part of a collaborative, remote-first environment, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a diverse group of professionals from LATAM and beyond, contributing to exciting projects that span various industries.

Our ideal candidate is proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript, with a strong command of modern frameworks such as React and Node.js. You will be responsible for architecting scalable applications, ensuring high performance, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software. What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable web applications using JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to define and implement user-friendly interfaces with React and Next.js.
  • Build and optimize backend services using Node.js and NestJS, ensuring seamless integration with frontend components.
  • Implement and manage databases (both SQL and NoSQL) to support application requirements effectively.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring high availability and performance of applications.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development with a focus on full-stack technologies.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with strong experience in React for frontend development.
  • Solid understanding of backend frameworks, particularly Node.js
  • Extensive experience with database technologies, including SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with frontend tools and libraries like Tailwind CSS and UI libraries.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote setting.

Nice to Have

- Experience with serverless architecture and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques and best practices in web development.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience in mentoring and leading development teams.

- Interest in exploring emerging technologies and trends in software development.
