The posting

We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to lead complex, enterprise-scale technology implementation and system integration projects. The role owns the full end-to-end project lifecycle — from business need identification, business case and budget preparation, vendor sourcing and commercial/contract coordination, requirement gathering and solution design, through development, system integration, testing, deployment, go-live, stabilization and project closure.

The ideal candidate has strong technical understanding and is comfortable managing multiple interconnected systems, internal technology teams and external vendors. Strong English communication is required for working with and governing international vendors and stakeholders. Retail or eCommerce experience is an advantage, but not mandatory.

Key Responsibility:

1. Project Initiation & Business Case

  • Work with business stakeholders to define business needs, scope, expected benefits and success criteria.
  • Develop business cases, project budgets, resource requirements and approval materials.
  • Establish project scope, timeline, governance and delivery approach.

2. Vendor Sourcing & Commercial Management

  • Lead or coordinate vendor sourcing, RFP/RFQ, technical/commercial evaluation and vendor selection.
  • Work with Procurement, Finance and Legal on commercial negotiation, SOW and contract finalization.
  • Manage vendor commitments, deliverables, performance and accountability throughout the project.

3. Requirements & Solution

  • Drive business and technical requirements with Business, Product, Technology and vendors.
  • Ensure requirements are translated into an executable end-to-end solution across all impacted systems.
  • Work closely with architects and engineering teams to review solution design, APIs, integration flows, data dependencies and technical feasibility.

4. Technical Implementation & System Integration

  • Lead complex implementations involving multiple systems, platforms, APIs and vendors.
  • Manage development, environments, integration dependencies, SIT, end-to-end testing and UAT.
  • Identify cross-system risks and ensure issues are managed based on their end-to-end business and technical impact.

5. Deployment & Production Readiness

  • Own cutover planning, go/no-go readiness, deployment and hypercare.
  • Drive production issue resolution, root cause analysis (RCA) and stabilization.
  • Ensure successful transition to operations/BAU and formal project closure.

6. Project Governance

  • Own project scope, timeline, budget, RAID, dependencies, change control and resource tracking.
  • Lead Steering Committees and working sessions with clear status, risks, options and decisions required.
  • Govern local and international vendors/stakeholders and drive accountability across all parties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field.
  • 5–10+ years of experience in Technical Project Management, IT Project Management or complex technology implementation.
  • Proven experience managing complex multi-system implementation and/or system integration projects.
  • Good practical understanding of APIs, system integration, data flows, application dependencies, environments, testing and production deployment.
  • Able to communicate effectively with engineers, architects and vendors and challenge technical solutions when required.
  • Experience managing the end-to-end project lifecycle, including business case, vendor sourcing, requirements, implementation and go-live.
  • Strong vendor, stakeholder, budget and project governance experience.
  • Good English communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings and governance with international teams/vendors.
  • Retail, eCommerce, OMS, Payment, Inventory/WMS, Fulfillment or other transaction-platform experience is a plus.
  • PMP, Agile, Scrum or other relevant certifications are a plus, but not required.
