  • Ensure appropriate legal support in relation to EU laws and regulations, as well as applicable national legislation across the countries within the SOFMEDICA region.
  • Monitor changes in legislation and relevant industry regulations, assess their potential impact on the business and provide timely, practical advice to management.
  • Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts, including supplier agreements, sales and customer agreements, financing agreements, service contracts, confidentiality agreements and other business-critical arrangements.
  • Lead and support complex commercial negotiations, ensuring an appropriate balance between protecting the company's interests and achieving its commercial objectives.
  • Identify and assess contractual and legal risks and provide clear, pragmatic recommendations to enable informed business decisions.
  • Ensure contractual arrangements comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements and appropriately protect the company's commercial and legal interests.
  • Provide advice on key contractual provisions, including liability, indemnities, warranties, termination rights, payment terms, guarantees and dispute-resolution mechanisms.
  • Manage relationships with external lawyers and legal advisors across the region, engaging specialist expertise and local representation where required.
  • Coordinate external legal counsel in relation to litigation, disputes, claims and other legal matters, ensuring effective management of legal risk, cost and outcomes.
  • Advise on corporate governance matters and support compliance with company policies, governance requirements and ethical standards.
  • Advise on OneSofMedica corporate legal documentation, working closely with the Corporate Officer and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Support the drafting, implementation and periodic review of internal policies, procedures, contract templates and legal standards.
  • Support strategic projects, transactions and business initiatives by identifying legal implications early and helping the business develop practical solutions.
  • Build legal awareness across the organization by providing clear guidance to commercial and operational teams on contractual and legal matters.

Requirements

  • University degree in Law and strong professional legal credentials.
  • Significant experience in a senior in-house legal, commercial counsel or comparable legal advisory position.
  • Strong expertise in commercial law, contract drafting and complex contract negotiation.
  • Experience working within an international or multi-jurisdictional business environment, ideally involving EU regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of corporate and commercial legal matters and the ability to coordinate specialist advice across different jurisdictions.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify material legal and contractual risks while maintaining a pragmatic and commercially oriented approach.
  • Confidence in negotiating directly with customers, suppliers, financial institutions, business partners and external legal counsel.
  • Ability to translate complex legal issues into clear recommendations and practical business solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder-management skills and the credibility to advise and challenge senior management when required.
  • High degree of autonomy, ownership, integrity and professional judgment.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken; additional languages relevant to the OneSofMedica region are an advantage.

Benefits

  • The opportunity to influence key commercial, contractual and strategic decisions across SOFMEDICA
  • A genuinely international scope, working across multiple jurisdictions and navigating both EU and national legal frameworks.
  • Significant autonomy and ownership, with the opportunity to shape the legal approach and ways of working across the business.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package, aligned with the seniority and responsibilities of the role.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
