Compensation range: $1,600 AUD - $2,000 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: Our client is a growing Australian hospitality and restaurant group with a network of venues operating across multiple locations, supported by a central corporate team.

The business has built its reputation around delivering a distinctive dining experience, combining quality food, strong service, and a lively venue environment. With a large and diverse workforce across corporate and franchised locations, the business places a strong emphasis on people, operational standards, compliance, and creating a positive employee experience.

Role Overview: The Senior Marketing Analyst will play a key role in strengthening marketing performance reporting and financial analysis for a growing Australian hospitality and restaurant group. The role will focus on analysing digital and offline marketing data, developing more sophisticated reporting for the Marketing Fund, and providing clear insights into advertising performance and fund allocation. Working closely with marketing and corporate teams, the role combines specialist marketing analytics with commercial and financial analysis to support informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain marketing performance reporting across digital and offline channels, including Meta, Google, and YouTube.
  • Analyse campaign and advertising data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct attribution analysis across out-of-home (OOH) media and other marketing channels.
  • Develop reporting and analysis to provide greater visibility into Marketing Fund allocation, expenditure, and performance.
  • Analyse marketing data and translate findings into clear, actionable insights for internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare management reports and support P&L analysis, balance sheet review, and financial data interpretation related to marketing activities.
  • Reconcile and validate marketing and financial data to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate with marketing and finance teams to improve reporting processes, data visibility, and analytical methodologies.
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and evaluation of marketing spend and performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the way marketing performance and fund allocation are measured and reported.

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing analytics, digital analytics, data analysis, or a related role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Meta, Google, and YouTube analytics.
  • Experience with marketing attribution and multi-channel performance measurement, ideally including OOH media.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with advanced Excel/spreadsheet capability.
  • Experience preparing management reports and interpreting complex marketing and financial data.
  • Experience with or strong understanding of P&L analysis, balance sheet review, and financial reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify patterns, discrepancies, and actionable insights.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to present data clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with hospitality, retail, multi-site, franchise, or other consumer-facing businesses is advantageous.

Work Arrangement & Expectations:

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.

To ensure alignment and transparency, successful candidates will be expected to:

  • Disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work
  • Reflect this engagement on their LinkedIn profile (clearly marked as “Independent Contractor”)

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
