The posting

Role overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Platform Engineer to manage, govern, and continuously improve Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint Online, alongside core Microsoft 365 services.

The role combines hands-on platform operations with responsibility for governance, security, and the platform operating model. You will work closely with developers, business users, and stakeholders to deliver reliable services, establish clear standards, and support the migration of legacy solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations for Power Platform, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, and Exchange Online, including monitoring, incident resolution, service requests, updates, and access management.
  • Establish and maintain Power Platform governance through the Centre of Excellence, covering environments, policies, templates, inventory, monitoring, and adoption.
  • Define and maintain the platform’s target operating model, including roles, processes, controls, and support arrangements.
  • Lead platform security design, including permissions, identity and access controls, data protection, and data loss prevention, in line with BIS standards. Apply Microsoft Purview capabilities where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with developers to establish engineering standards, review solutions, and promote effective development, testing, and release practices.
  • Plan and deliver SharePoint site migrations to SharePoint Online and migrate legacy workflows to Power Automate, ensuring clear stakeholder communication and minimal business disruption.
  • Coach developers and business users on reusable components, naming conventions, testing, and maintainable solution design.
  • Drive automation and continuous service improvement, maintaining clear technical designs, operational procedures, and support documentation.

Requirements

Required skills and experience

  • Strong hands-on experience configuring, governing, and operating Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
  • Practical experience implementing and using the Power Platform Centre of Excellence for governance, monitoring, and adoption.
  • Strong SharePoint and SharePoint Online expertise, including site design, permissions, information architecture, and migration.
  • Experience migrating legacy workflows to Power Automate.
  • Solid experience supporting day-to-day Microsoft 365 operations across SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, and Exchange Online.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 security and compliance, including identity and access management, data protection, retention, and data loss prevention.
  • Experience applying Microsoft Purview capabilities where required.
  • Ability to produce clear, practical designs and documentation that other teams can maintain and support.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and coaching skills.
  • A collaborative, organised approach, with the ability to work independently in a diverse, multicultural environment.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
