The posting

Across Europe, fleets are under enormous pressure. Fuel costs are rising. Regulatory requirements are tightening. The shift to low-emission vehicles is accelerating. And yet around 70% of European businesses still manage their fleets manually, with spreadsheets, disconnected tools, and processes that were never built for this moment. Shiftmove exists to make this simple.

We are a profitable B2B SaaS company and the fastest-growing fleet management platform in Europe, born from the merger of Avrios and Vimcar, and now serving tens of thousands of corporate customers across Germany, France, Spain, Switzerland, Poland, and beyond. Most recently, we acquired Optimum and Ocean in France, expanding our footprint and doubling down on one of Europe's largest fleet markets. Our AI-powered platform connects real-time vehicle data with intelligent software so that businesses can procure smarter, control costs, stay compliant, and lead the transition to cleaner mobility, all from one place.

About the role:

As our (Senior) Product Manager, you will take over one of the most strategically important product domains at Shiftmove – the platform and ecosystem layer, aka the connective tissue between Avrios, Vimcar, Optimum, Océan, and external partners.

You will own the product direction for this layer: deciding what becomes a reusable platform capability, what should stay market-specific, and where the team focuses first. You will work directly with Engineering, senior leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders across Germany and France to bring clarity to an ambiguous domain and turn complex problems into focused product direction.

This is a build and define phase, with a large scope and direct impact on Shiftmove's ability to expand across Europe, grow cross-sell revenue, and establish the platform foundation behind the leading fleet mobility ecosystem on the continent.

What you'll do:

  • Platform & Ecosystem Strategy: Own the product direction for our platform and integration scope, connecting our products, external partners, market-specific systems, and customer workflows across Europe.
  • Ambiguity into Direction: Create structure where ownership, priorities, and system boundaries are not yet fully defined. Decide what becomes a reusable platform capability, what should stay market-specific, and where the team focuses first.
  • Discovery and Delivery: Lead discovery and delivery for core platform capabilities: shared workflows, reusable integration patterns, APIs, data flows, and interoperability between products.
  • European Market Expansion: Build internationalisation capabilities that help our core products scale beyond one market at a time.
  • Cross-Product Portfolio: Shape initiatives that bring Avrios, Vimcar, Optimum, and Océan closer together, reducing friction for customers and unlocking stronger cross-sell opportunities across the portfolio.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Work closely with Engineering, GTM, Sales, Customer Success, country teams, and senior leadership to align priorities and move complex topics forward across products and markets.
  • Focus and Ownership: Protect the team from reactive request intake by setting clear priorities, defining ownership boundaries, and keeping focus on long-term platform value over one-off solutions.

What the first 6 months might look like:

  • Months 1 to 2: Focus on onboarding, learning about our product portfolio, stakeholders, and ways of working.
  • Months 3 to 4: Build trusting relationships with your team, translating your learnings into a focused product strategy and roadmap, and working on first challenges.
  • Months 5 to 6: You're driving your topics, delivering reusable integration and internationalisation capabilities that make our platform more scalable across markets.

What you'll need to be successful:

  • Scaleup Mindset: You possess a fierce ownership mentality, thrive in ambiguity, and enjoy building structure where there isn't a playbook.
  • B2B Product Background: You have a solid track record in B2B product management. Experience with SaaS business models, monetization strategies, or fleet/mobility management is a strong advantage.
  • Broad Scope Thinker: You are used to managing broad product areas rather than a singular, micro-scoped feature.
  • Technical Fluency: While you don't need to write code, you have a strong conceptual understanding of APIs, data flows, and system boundaries to speak eye-to-eye with engineers and external partners.
  • AI-Forward: You are an adaptive professional who natively integrates AI tools into your daily workflow, whether for discovery synthesis, concept testing, or prototyping.
  • Communication: You challenge up when something is wrong, and are comfortable pushing back on senior stakeholders if the direction doesn't make sense, and you do it with clarity and evidence, not defensiveness
  • Language skills: This is a bilingual role, with both German and English on min. C1 level.

Why join us?

  • Build products with real-world impact: We solve complex, everyday problems for thousands of businesses across Europe, replacing manual, fragmented fleet operations with data-driven, intelligent solutions people truly rely on.
  • Scale something meaningful: We’re a profitable, PE-backed scale-up with strong fundamentals and a clear ambition (1M vehicles by 2027), offering a rare mix of stability, ownership, and pace.
  • Work in a truly international, collaborative environment: With 40+ nationalities, English as our working language, and teams across Europe, collaboration and shared ownership are part of how we work every day.
  • Grow with autonomy and trust: We invest heavily in product, data, and people – giving you the space to take responsibility, contribute ideas, challenge others, and do your best work while helping shape how we scale.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
