The posting

Agents are authoring entire data systems. The bottleneck is no longer writing pipelines, but understanding, governing, and trusting what they produce.

dltHub provides the infrastructure that enables data teams in large enterprises and scale-up companies to run their data stack autonomously. Our open-source Python library, dlt, offers agents and developers transparent, composable building blocks for data ingestion (schema inference, normalization, incremental loading, and data contracts), designed from the start for the AI era. Built on dlt, dltHub is the AI-native data engineering platform for teams of humans and agents: a managed layer over any warehouse that lets both your team and their agents generate, validate, and manage high-quality data at scale.

As we grow, product communication and sales collateral are critical for our success. We are hiring a Product Marketing Manager to lead building the bridge between our customers and our product team.

Mission of the Role

Make dltHub as compelling to business leaders as it is to engineers, and drive enterprise opportunities through a strong message, launches, and enterprise-level communication.

What you'll actually work on

  • Product Launches. You own the process and delivery of our product launches and ensure we communicate our product vision and new product capabilities consistently to a growing audience. We launch new products every few weeks. Recent examples include the public preview of Transformations, a companion post for practitioners, dltHub Pro, dltHub for Teams, and our vision for an autonomous data platform.
  • Enterprise communication. You ensure we are speaking with one voice and represent our brand consistently in everything we say and do. You take ownership of our website communications.
  • Customer collateral. You take our customer success stories and blueprints, like the ontology and semantic layer, to the next level of excellence. These come from engagements with our customers and our Solutions Engineering team. You interview the customer and write them.
  • Content marketing. You coordinate our content marketing creation and distribution efforts. Work with our content writers. Plan the schedules and ensure that the content speaks our language
  • The link between Product and GTM. You align stakeholders, drive the launch schedule, and close gaps in messaging, sales enablement, and launch readiness. Coordinate our product marketing activities and keep the team aligned.

What success looks like:

  • In 90 days, you run launches end to end, and our story is consistent across the website, sales collateral, and decks, with messaging that speaks directly to business buyers.
  • In 6 months, you've built a repeatable process that trains sales on that story, and we can see it working (e.g. in win rate with business buyers & deal velocity)
  • Ongoing, you own the marketing plan: one lean, visible roadmap where everyone can see what we're doing, why, and in what order.

Requirements

  • You can write clearly about technical subjects. Your style is clear and not full of marketing talk. Please read the post on the Transformations launch and the page at dlthub.com/security. If you think you can do better, you are the person we're looking for.
  • You have been targeting US enterprise customers and are therefore familiar with what a senior technical stakeholder actually reads. Our customers are the lead personnel regarding data platforms and the people who approve decisions on their behalf, both in the US and in the EU.
  • You can talk with a data engineer about pipelines, schemas, and warehouses without being one. You do need to understand what our product does.
  • You've carried out launches from start to finish, which involved you choosing the audience, deciding on the message, and selecting which assets were worth developing, before building most of them yourself.
  • You need to be able to keep agents in control and build agentic workflows while ensuring our external presence conveys a human touch.
  • You have a basic understanding of data workflows.

This probably isn't for you if

  • You rely on a formal brief and a kickoff meeting before getting started, this role is not for you. While you'll have access to design support, you're expected to independently draft the first version of the post, the page, and the deck without waiting for a request ticket.
  • You want to own strategy and hand execution to someone else.
  • You can't work from our Berlin office regularly.

Benefits

  • We organize our work around each person's autonomy and efficiency, with set hours for communication and for deep work.
  • We are an office-first company that also offers plenty of room for deep work and working from home. Dedicated meeting-free days let the team focus on their most important work.
  • We cover your Berlin public transportation ticket.
  • We are deeply committed to your personal and professional growth, and as such, we allocate an annual budget for learning and development.
  • We offer regular subsidized team lunches and Urban Sports Club membership.
  • We have an ESOP scheme available to employees, taking into account their impact on the product and the company.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
