Join us as a Senior Project Engineer in Aberdeen

DOF is a leading international group of companies specializing in offshore and subsea services. We are currently seeking Senior Project Engineers to join our team. As a Senior Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing project activities, ensuring successful delivery within agreed timelines and budget. Your expertise and leadership skills will be essential in coordinating with various stakeholders and driving project execution.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of interesting and challenging projects, spanning different disciplines such as IMR, SURF, subsea installations, and more. With a multi-national workforce of about 5,900 personnel, DOF Group ASA is an international group of companies which owns and operates a fleet of modern offshore/subsea vessels, and engineering capacity to service both the offshore and subsea market. DOF's core businesses are vessel ownership, vessel management, project management, engineering, vessel operations, survey, remote intervention and diving operations primarily for the oil and gas sector. The Company's main operation centres and business units are located in Norway, the UK, the USA, Singapore, Brazil, Argentina, Canada, Angola, and Australia.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field (experience can compensate for lack of formal competency)
  • Experience in project engineering within the offshore/subsea industry
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Management of subcontracts and subcontractors
  • Experience in site management of fabrication subcontractors and Site Integration and Factory Acceptance Testing of equipment and tooling packages for the oil and gas industry
  • Management of QA/QC principles
  • Detailed understanding of relevant codes and standards.
  • Understanding of Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment tools and techniques
  • Awareness of project management tools and techniques
