The posting

De Senior Project Manager zal belangrijke transformatieprojecten leiden en coördineren, met focus op effectieve planning, gestructureerde uitvoering en afstemming op de strategische doelstellingen binnen de organisatie. De functie zorgt ervoor dat projecten tijdig, binnen scope en met meetbare verbeteringen op het gebied van processen, kwaliteit en prestaties worden gerealiseerd. De Senior Project Manager stuurt governance-routines aan, zorgt voor transparante rapportering aan het senior management, beheert risico’s proactief en begeleidt cross-functionele teams bij het succesvol opleveren van projecten.

Belangrijkste Verantwoordelijkheden

Projectcoördinatie

  • Leiden van de planning en uitvoering van transformatieprojecten binnen verschillende domeinen zoals operations, IT, commercie, finance, HR en kwaliteit;
  • Vertalen van strategische doelstellingen naar concrete projectplannen, tijdslijnen en deliverables;
  • Zorgen voor consistent gebruik van projectmanagementmethodologieën, tools en templates binnen alle werkstromen;
  • Coördineren van afhankelijkheden, opvolgen van voortgang en bijsturen van plannen waar nodig om tijdige oplevering te garanderen.

Performance Management & Rapportering

  • Definiëren en opvolgen van KPI’s, succescriteria en projectprestatiemetrics;
  • Opstellen van duidelijke en gestructureerde statusupdates en rapporten voor senior stakeholders en management;
  • Tijdig identificeren van risico’s en issues, escaleren waar nodig en aansturen van mitigerende acties met de teams;
  • Zorgen voor accurate documentatie van beslissingen, acties en lessons learned.

Stakeholdermanagement

  • Nauw samenwerken met cross-functionele teams, projectleiders en inhoudelijke experts;
  • Betrekken van mid-level en senior stakeholders om alignment en ownership van projectresultaten te verzekeren;
  • Faciliteren van projectmeetings, workshops en besluitvormingssessies op een duidelijke en gestructureerde manier;
  • Opbouwen van sterke relaties om vlotte communicatie en succesvolle change adoption te ondersteunen.

Resource- & Change Management

  • Coördineren van resources binnen projectteams, inclusief externe leveranciers en interne expertise;
  • Samenwerken met HR en Communicatie rond change management activiteiten, inclusief ondersteuning van trainings- en communicatieplannen;
  • Bijdragen aan de ontwikkeling van projectmanagementcapaciteiten door junior teamleden te begeleiden en best practices te delen;
  • Ondersteunen van duurzame implementatie door correcte overdracht, documentatie en integratie in bedrijfsprocessen te verzekeren.

  • Oplevering van projecten volgens planning, kwaliteitscriteria en scope;
  • Naleving van mijlpalen en effectief beheer van afhankelijkheden.

Business Impact

  • Bijdrage aan het behalen van projectdoelstellingen, verbeteringen en efficiëntiewinsten;
  • Meetbare afstemming van projectresultaten op transformatiedoelstellingen.

Volwassenheid van Projectmanagement

  • Kwaliteit en nauwkeurigheid van rapportering, documentatie en KPI-opvolging;
  • Tijdige risico-escalatie en effectieve mitigatie;
  • Naleving van PM-standaarden en continue verbetering van werkwijzen.

Teamperformantie

  • Samenwerking en engagement binnen cross-functionele teams;
  • Coaching en ondersteuning van junior projectmanagers of analisten.

Requirements

  • Universitair diploma (masterdiploma vereist; bij voorkeur in business, gezondheidswetenschappen of een gerelateerd vakgebied);
  • Vloeiend in Engels en Nederlands (mondeling en schriftelijk);
  • 3–5 jaar ervaring in projectmanagement, transformatie, consulting of gelijkaardige functies;
  • Aantoonbare ervaring in het leiden van middelgrote tot grote projecten met cross-functionele impact;
  • Ervaring met werken in matrixorganisaties en met diverse stakeholders;
  • Ervaring binnen transformatieprojecten in healthcare, diagnostiek of life sciences is een pluspunt;
  • Sterke achtergrond in projectplanning, risicobeheer en gestructureerde uitvoering;
  • Sterke vaardigheden op het vlak van projectmanagement, coördinatie en communicatie;
  • Vermogen om strategie te vertalen naar concrete actieplannen en resultaten te behalen;
  • Sterke analytische vaardigheden, probleemoplossend vermogen en gevoel voor prioriteiten;
  • Ervaring met projectmanagementtools en -methodologieën;
  • Vermogen om om te gaan met ambiguïteit, duidelijkheid te creëren en teams naar gestructureerde resultaten te leiden;
  • Hoge emotionele intelligentie, stakeholderbewustzijn en veerkracht.
