Buscamos un(a) Senior QA Automation Engineer apasionado(a) por la calidad de software y la automatización de pruebas para integrarse a proyectos estratégicos del sector financiero. Serás parte de equipos multidisciplinarios que desarrollan y evolucionan productos digitales de alto impacto, contribuyendo a garantizar experiencias seguras, confiables y de alta calidad para miles de usuarios.

Tendrás la oportunidad de trabajar con aplicaciones móviles de misión crítica, impulsando la automatización end-to-end, la mejora continua de procesos de testing y la adopción de buenas prácticas de calidad dentro de entornos ágiles. Esta poición es híbrida en Quito, Ecuador.

Funciones:

  • Diseñar, desarrollar y mantener frameworks y scripts de automatización para aplicaciones móviles Android e iOS.
  • Ejecutar pruebas funcionales, de integración, regresión y smoke testing en entornos de desarrollo, QA y producción controlada.
  • Diseñar y ejecutar pruebas sobre APIs utilizando herramientas como Postman y Newman.
  • Participar activamente en la definición de estrategias de calidad y automatización dentro de equipos ágiles.
  • Analizar requerimientos funcionales y técnicos para identificar escenarios de prueba y riesgos potenciales.
  • Gestionar y reportar defectos, asegurando su adecuada trazabilidad y seguimiento.
  • Colaborar con desarrolladores, arquitectos y Product Owners para asegurar entregas de alta calidad.
  • Contribuir a la integración de pruebas automatizadas dentro de pipelines CI/CD.
  • Participar en iniciativas de mejora continua relacionadas con calidad, automatización y rendimiento.

Requirements

  • Experiencia sólida en testing de aplicaciones móviles Android e iOS.
  • Experiencia en automatización de pruebas utilizando Appium o Cypress.
  • Experiencia en diseño y ejecución de pruebas de APIs utilizando Postman.
  • Conocimiento de metodologías ágiles (Scrum, Kanban o similares).
  • Experiencia en gestión de defectos y ciclos de pruebas end-to-end.
  • Capacidad para trabajar de forma colaborativa con equipos multidisciplinarios.

Deseables

  • Experiencia con Cucumber para automatización basada en BDD.
  • Experiencia con Serenity BDD.
  • Uso de Newman para ejecución automatizada de colecciones Postman.
  • Experiencia realizando pruebas de performance con K6.
  • Conocimiento de integración de pruebas dentro de pipelines CI/CD.
