We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Superintendent / Project Manager to lead high-end residential construction projects throughout the Greater Boston area.

This is a hands-on senior leadership role responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through final completion and closeout. The position will oversee field operations, scheduling, budgets, subcontractors, quality control, safety, site logistics, and client communication.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience with luxury custom homes, multifamily construction, major renovations, and historic restoration, along with a strong understanding of architect-driven projects and complex urban construction environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead high-end residential construction projects from preconstruction through final turnover and closeout.
  • Oversee daily field operations while maintaining project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers, consultants, inspectors, and homeowners.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, look-ahead plans, site logistics plans, and construction sequencing.
  • Review architectural drawings, specifications, contracts, and scope documents to ensure accurate project execution.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, permitting, inspections, daily reports, and project documentation.
  • Lead jobsite meetings, subcontractor coordination meetings, quality inspections, and progress reviews.
  • Identify and resolve field conflicts, design issues, existing-condition challenges, material delays, and scheduling concerns.
  • Maintain exceptional craftsmanship and quality standards throughout all phases of construction, from structural work through final finishes.
  • Coordinate material deliveries, site logistics, manpower, and subcontractor sequencing.
  • Enforce OSHA requirements, company safety policies, housekeeping standards, and jobsite procedures.
  • Provide regular project updates to ownership, homeowners, architects, and company leadership.
  • Oversee punch-list completion, owner walkthroughs, warranty items, project turnover, and final closeout.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and project partners.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of construction experience with progressive leadership responsibility.
  • 10+ years of residential construction project management experience in the Greater Boston area.
  • Proven experience with luxury custom homes, multifamily construction, major renovations, or historic restoration.
  • Historic renovation, brownstone restoration, or architect-driven residential construction experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Boston-area permitting, inspections, urban construction logistics, and local subcontractor coordination.
  • Proven ability to manage projects from preconstruction through final completion.
  • Strong understanding of residential construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor management, quality control, and project documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, contracts, and construction documents.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Buildertrend, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Excel, or similar construction software.
  • OSHA certification or equivalent safety training preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong field presence with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high construction standards.
  • Ability to work effectively with homeowners, architects, designers, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.

Benefits

  • $120,000–$160,000 annual salary, based on experience.
  • Performance-based bonus opportunities.
  • Comprehensive health benefits.
  • Paid time off and company holidays.
  • Stable pipeline of high-end residential construction projects.
  • Significant project ownership and senior field leadership responsibility.
  • Opportunity to lead complex, architecturally significant residential projects throughout Greater Boston.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented work environment.
  • Long-term career growth opportunities.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
