About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to design secure, scalable, and high-performing technology solutions aligned with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards.The Solutions Architect will work closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, and other stakeholders to translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions and provide architectural guidance throughout the solution delivery lifecycle.The role will contribute to digital transformation initiatives, architecture governance, cloud-native solutions, integration architecture, and the continuous improvement of technology standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture

  • Design end-to-end solution architectures for digital platforms, APIs, microservices, and enterprise applications.
  • Translate business and functional requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
  • Produce High-Level Designs (HLDs), architecture diagrams, integration designs, and technical specifications.
  • Ensure solutions meet scalability, availability, performance, security, and reliability requirements.
  • Support project teams with architectural guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.

Technical Leadership

  • Provide technical guidance to development teams during implementation.
  • Review technical designs and implementation approaches to ensure alignment with architecture standards.
  • Participate in architecture reviews and technical design workshops.
  • Support troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical and architectural challenges.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Engineering, Infrastructure, Security teams, and external partners.
  • Participate in requirements-gathering sessions and technical workshops.
  • Communicate architectural decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful solution delivery.

Integration & API Architecture

  • Design RESTful APIs and event-driven integrations.
  • Define integration patterns between internal and external systems.
  • Ensure API designs follow appropriate security, versioning, and governance standards.
  • Apply best practices for API design, management, and system integration.

Cloud & Platform Architecture

  • Design cloud-native solutions using containerized microservices.
  • Support Kubernetes-based deployments and DevOps practices.
  • Design resilient, secure, and cost-efficient cloud solutions.
  • Apply cloud architecture principles across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.

Architecture Governance

  • Ensure solution designs comply with enterprise architecture, security, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in architecture review boards and governance activities.
  • Identify technical risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Contribute to architecture standards, reusable frameworks, and reference architectures.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience

  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in software development, solution architecture, or related technical roles.
  • 2–3 years of experience in a leading role involving software architecture and technical leadership.
  • Strong experience designing microservices-based architectures.
  • Experience designing and implementing REST APIs, API Gateways, and integration platforms.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Java, .NET, or equivalent backend technologies.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience in financial services, FinTech, digital banking, payments, or other regulated industries is preferred.

  • Experience within financial services, FinTech, digital banking, payments, or regulated industries.
  • Arabic proficiency is preferred.
  • Strong English communication skills.
