We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Tester to join our quality engineering team and take ownership of testing ServiceNow applications, workflows, integrations, and platform enhancements. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow testing, Selenium automation, and ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF), along with a solid understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance processes.

You will work closely with developers, ServiceNow administrators, business analysts, product teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that ServiceNow solutions meet functional, technical, and business requirements. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to independently plan and execute comprehensive testing activities.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for ServiceNow implementations and enhancements.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, system, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing across ServiceNow modules.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
  • Create, execute, and maintain automated regression suites using Selenium WebDriver and relevant automation frameworks.
  • Validate ServiceNow workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, notifications, forms, reports, and integrations.
  • Test ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Service Catalog, based on project requirements.
  • Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using appropriate defect management tools.
  • Analyze test failures, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
  • Validate integrations between ServiceNow and external applications through APIs, web services, and other integration mechanisms.
  • Participate in requirement reviews and provide testing inputs to identify potential quality risks early in the development lifecycle.
  • Maintain automation scripts and continuously improve test coverage, reliability, and execution efficiency.
  • Support CI/CD-based testing and contribute to continuous quality engineering practices.
  • Prepare test execution reports, defect reports, and quality metrics for project stakeholders.

Must-Have Skills

  • ServiceNow: Strong hands-on experience in testing ServiceNow applications, workflows, configurations, and integrations.
  • Selenium: Strong experience in UI test automation using Selenium WebDriver.
  • ATF: Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework, including creating, executing, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated test cases.
  • Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
  • Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development life cycles.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 6–11 years of overall experience in software testing/quality assurance.
  • Significant experience working on ServiceNow testing and automation projects.
  • Proven experience developing and maintaining automated test suites.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
