Description du poste

En tant que sexologue au sein de la Direction de la protection de la jeunesse (DPJ), vous jouerez un rôle clé dans l'évaluation, l’intervention et la prévention des problématiques liées à la sexualité, la violence sexuelle et les comportements sexuels problématiques. Vous collaborerez étroitement avec les intervenants jeunesse, les familles, les écoles et les partenaires communautaires.

Responsabilités principales

  • Effectuer des évaluations cliniques et psychosociales en lien avec les problématiques sexuelles;
  • Participer à l’élaboration de plans d’intervention individualisés;
  • Offrir des interventions individuelles, familiales et de groupe;
  • Soutenir les équipes DPJ dans la compréhension des enjeux sexuels spécifiques à certaines situations;
  • Participer à la prévention et à l’éducation en matière de santé sexuelle auprès des jeunes, des familles et des milieux scolaires;
  • Adapter les approches cliniques en respectant la culture inuite et les réalités nordiques.

Exigences

  • Baccalauréat en sexologie (ou maîtrise, un atout);
  • Membre en règle de l’Ordre professionnel des sexologues du Québec (OPSQ);
  • Expérience en intervention jeunesse et/ou en milieu autochtone (un atout);
  • Expérience obligatoire au département des ressources (familles d'acceuil) a la DPJ
  • Expérience en tant que Chef d'équipe est un atout
  • Connaissance du système de protection de la jeunesse au Québec;
  • Excellentes capacités d’adaptation, de communication interculturelle et de travail en équipe;
  • Bonne maîtrise du français et l'anglais (bilinguisme obligatoire)
