The posting

Location: San Francisco, CA

Work Model: Onsite (fully in-person)

Industry: AI for enterprise insurance

Compensation: $165K-$250K base, plus competitive Series A equity

About the Company

Our partner is a fast-growing, Series A AI company backed by top-tier investors, automating end-to-end insurance claims processing for the largest carriers. Revenue has grown roughly 50% month over month, the team has scaled to around 70 people, and it is on track to more than double by year end. Engineering is Python-heavy and deeply agentic. The culture is fast, feedback-rich, low on bureaucracy, and fully in-person.

The Opportunity

Our partner is hiring backend Software Engineers to build the core of an AI system that processes insurance claims end to end. The stack is Python-heavy and deeply agentic, and the mandate is to hire engineers who can do the work without AI and then hand them AI to move faster. You will own hard problems end to end, ship quickly, and operate with unusual autonomy on a team that runs an honest, high-feedback culture.

Responsibilities

  • Build and ship backend systems across product and infrastructure in Python
  • Design and improve agentic AI workflows
  • Own problems end to end under fast deadlines
  • Raise the technical bar through a strong feedback culture

Requirements

  • 1-7 years of software engineering experience (strong internships considered for newer grads)
  • Strong Python and backend fundamentals
  • High agency, ownership, and a strong work ethic
  • Standout signals: a top technical school, 0-3 years at a leading tech company, fast-scaling startup experience, or competition accolades (for example, ICPC or IOI)

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
