A leading Government Healthcare Facility in the UAE is seeking an experienced Specialist / Consultant – Endocrinology to join its specialized medical team.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive care for patients with endocrine and metabolic disorders, managing complex cases through evidence-based diagnosis, treatment, and long-term follow-up. The role offers an opportunity to work alongside multidisciplinary teams in a well-established clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, evaluate, and manage a broad range of endocrine and metabolic disorders.
- Provide comprehensive care for patients with diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal and pituitary conditions, osteoporosis, and other endocrine diseases.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment, laboratory investigations, and imaging.
- Manage complex and high-risk endocrine cases and provide appropriate specialist consultations.
- Monitor treatment response and adjust therapies according to clinical requirements.
- Provide counseling and education to patients regarding disease management, lifestyle, and long-term care.
- Collaborate with primary care physicians, surgeons, cardiologists, nephrologists, and other specialists as required.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with patient-safety and clinical governance standards.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, teaching, and continuing medical education.
Requirements
- Medical degree from a recognized institution.
- Recognized postgraduate qualification in Endocrinology / Endocrinology and Metabolism.
- Relevant Specialist or Consultant-level clinical experience.
- Candidates with UK CCT, Western qualifications, American Board, Australian Board, or German Board are encouraged to apply.
- Strong clinical experience in managing complex endocrine and metabolic conditions.
- Excellent diagnostic, clinical decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
- Previous experience in a tertiary, teaching, or government hospital is advantageous.
