The posting

A leading Government Healthcare Facility in the UAE is seeking an experienced Specialist / Consultant – Implantology to join its specialized dental team.

The successful candidate will provide advanced implant dentistry and comprehensive restorative care, managing routine and complex implant cases and working closely with prosthodontists, periodontists, oral surgeons, and other dental specialists.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients and develop comprehensive treatment plans for implant-supported rehabilitation.
  • Perform dental implant placement and manage both routine and complex implant cases.
  • Evaluate bone quality, soft-tissue conditions, and overall suitability for implant treatment.
  • Perform advanced implant procedures, including immediate implant placement and guided implant surgery where appropriate.
  • Manage implant complications, failures, and peri-implant conditions.
  • Coordinate implant treatment with prosthodontic, periodontal, and surgical requirements.
  • Utilize appropriate diagnostic imaging and digital dentistry technologies for treatment planning.
  • Provide post-operative care, monitoring, and long-term implant maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with clinical and patient-safety standards.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions, clinical audits, teaching, and continuing professional development.

Requirements

  • Recognized Dental Degree (BDS/DDS/DMD or equivalent).
  • Recognized postgraduate qualification or advanced training in Implantology / Implant Dentistry.
  • Relevant Specialist or Consultant-level clinical experience.
  • Candidates with UK CCT, Western qualifications, American Board, Australian Board, or German Board are encouraged to apply.
  • Demonstrated experience in implant placement and management of complex implant cases.
  • Strong clinical, surgical, diagnostic, and treatment-planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities.
  • Previous experience in a tertiary, teaching, or government healthcare facility is advantageous.
