We are seeking a highly qualified Specialist / Consultant Intensive Care Medicine physician with a recognized Western Board qualification to provide expert critical care to critically ill patients, including assessment, stabilization, advanced organ support and multidisciplinary management in accordance with UAE healthcare standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and manage critically ill patients in the intensive care unit.
- Provide advanced life support and management of medical and surgical emergencies.
- Manage mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic instability and multi-organ dysfunction.
- Initiate and monitor appropriate organ-support therapies within approved clinical privileges.
- Coordinate care with emergency medicine, surgery, anaesthesia and other specialties.
- Lead or participate in multidisciplinary ICU rounds and clinical discussions.
- Communicate treatment plans and clinical updates effectively with patients' families.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
- Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement and patient-safety initiatives.
- Maintain professional competence through CPD and continuing education.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MBBS, MBChB, MD or equivalent).
- Recognized Western Board qualification in Intensive Care Medicine / Critical Care or an applicable equivalent qualification.
- Relevant specialist/consultant-level clinical experience.
- Eligible for or holding a valid UAE Specialist / Consultant Intensive Care Medicine licence, subject to applicable health authority requirements.
- Current Good Standing Certificate and required credentialing/verification documents.
- Strong critical-care, clinical decision-making and communication skills.
- Qualified international doctors meeting the required qualifications and UAE licensing criteria are encouraged to apply.
