Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) Technical Engineer to lead the architecture, deployment, customisation, and integration of IBM MAS across our enterprise clients. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up the MAS environment (OpenShift/hybrid cloud), tailoring business logic and UI to client specifications, and integrating existing legacy applications and ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, SCADA, GIS) into the Maximo ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architecture & Setup:
  • Plan, configure, and maintain IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS 8/9+) core components, including MAS Manage, MAS Monitor, MAS Health, and MAS Predict.
  • Collaborate with cloud and infrastructure teams to support deployment on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (ROCP) (on-premises or cloud-hosted).
  • Configure security, directory integration (LDAP/SAML/SSO), and role-based access controls.
  • Customisation & Configuration:
  • Implement custom business logic using Automation Scripts (Jython/Python, JavaScript).
  • Customise applications using Maximo Application Designer, Database Configuration, Domains, and Workflow Designer.
  • Develop complex workflows matching standard operating and maintenance procedures.
  • Integration & Data Migration:
  • Design and configure enterprise integrations using Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), REST APIs, JSON, and Kafka/MQ queues.
  • Integrate MAS with external systems such as ERPs (SAP/Oracle), IoT/SCADA platforms, GIS (Esri), and document management repositories.
  • Plan and execute data migration and schema mapping from legacy Maximo (v7.6) or external systems to MAS.
  • Testing, Go-Live & Client Engagement:
  • Conduct unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Provide technical documentation including technical architecture designs, interface control documents (ICDs), and operational runbooks.
  • Deliver client handover sessions and tier-3 technical troubleshooting during stabilization.

Requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Experience:
  • 5+ years of hands-on technical experience with IBM Maximo (at least 1–2+ years dedicated experience with IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS 8.x/9.x)).
  • Proven track record of configuring Red Hat OpenShift (OCP) environments hosting Maximo Suite.
  • Strong expertise in Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), REST/JSON APIs, Web Services, and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB).
  • Proficiency in Automation Scripting (Python/Jython) and SQL (Oracle DB, IBM Db2, or MS SQL Server).
  • Familiarity with Maximo Manage modules: Asset, Work Order, Inventory, Purchasing, and Preventive Maintenance.

Preferred Skills & Certifications

  • IBM Certified Deployment Professional – Maximo Application Suite / Maximo Asset Management.
  • Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration.
  • Prior experience delivering projects within KSA enterprise environments (e.g., Energy/Utilities, Infrastructure, Transportation, or Giga-projects).

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
