The posting

At Mindera, we are continuously developing a fantastic team, and we would love for you to join us. As a Staff Frontend Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building fluid and responsive user interfaces for multiple platforms and devices.

We are looking for experienced Engineers with an appetite for solving complex problems and building seamless user interactions to world-class standards. You won’t just be writing code; you’ll be a technical leader helping us define the future of our frontend architectures.

We value empathy, self-organization, and the courage to take risks. If you love navigating ambiguity and believe that empowering others is the hallmark of a great engineer, you’ll feel right at home here.

National and international expected traveling time varies according to project/client and organizational needs: 0%-15% estimated.

💪 How You’ll Contribute

  • Architect & Build: Lead the design and development of high-performance, secure, and scalable frontend solutions.
  • Engineering Excellence: Champion high-quality standards in developing great user interfaces that impact users worldwide.
  • Testing Strategy: Drive reliability through unit testing, integration testing, and a Shift-Left/TDD approach.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Work within Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), moving self-driven toward a common team or company purpose with minimal supervision.

Requirements

You’re Great At...

  • Experience: Bringing 9+ years of professional engineering experience, with a heavy focus on high-traffic, web-native products (SaaS, consumer web, or large-scale digital platforms).
  • Next.js Architecture: Driving the architecture of complex Next.js applications. You deeply understand rendering strategies (SSR, SSG, ISR, RSC), caching, and transitioning or scaling within the App Router ecosystem.
  • Web Fundamentals: Mastering Vanilla JavaScript and browser mechanics. You understand the core of the language, DOM manipulation, and how the open web actually works beneath the frameworks.
  • Web Performance: Obsessing over Core Web Vitals, SEO optimization, and delivering lightning-fast, accessible user interfaces to a global audience.
  • Testing Culture: Cultivating a shift-left mindset and rigorous automated testing practices to catch issues early, ensuring high reliability for production web apps
  • Mindset: Being passionate, self-driven, and thriving in a self-organized environment where you take ownership of your career, architectural decisions, and product impact.

Your Technical Toolkit:

  • Core: Expert-level Vanilla JavaScript, React.js, and Next.js (including advanced routing and server-state management).
  • Quality: Deep knowledge of Testing (Unit, Integration, E2E, TDD, Shift-Left) tailored for modern web applications.
  • Cloud: Professional experience with Azure Cloud/AWS/Google Cloud is considered a significant plus.
  • Observability: Familiarity or experience with New Relic/Datadog/Dynatrace for monitoring web performance, client-side errors, and API latency is a plus
  • Methodology: Strong experience working in Scrum and Kanban environments for agile, product-led web teams.

💬 Recruitment Stages

  • Screening - Reviewing CVs and eligibility verification.
  • 1st Call - 30-minute call to assess Technical & Culture Fit with an IT Recruiter.
  • Tech Interview - 2-hour call with two of our Engineers to assess your knowledge in depth, featuring theoretical scenarios and architectural exercises.
  • Cultural Interview - 1-hour call with a Minder to ensure alignment with our values.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
